Great local coffee shop. Plenty of tables to relax, and a nice outdoor area as well.

The coffee is a little pricier than I thought it would be. Chill vibes all throughout the coffee shop. Great place to get some work done or just hangout with friends. I had the dirty chai and it was delicious. The location is great because there is lots to do in the surrounding lowest Greenville area.

Great staff, great atmosphere, not a huge selection of beers but the ones they do have are on point. Excellent espresso and coffee. Can't go wrong stopping by this coffee shop.

The kind of place you could spend all day in. The coffee and food here is great. The atmosphere is awesome. It’s not necessary a quiet coffee shop but it’s comfortable. The people are super cool and always give a good chat if it’s not terribly busy.

Love love love the lavender latte here. They make the lavender syrup in house too. Cute atmosphere, good place to get work done!

Got there about two, it was not packed. Looking forward to going back again. Prices are decent. Feeling here is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I liked.

I love this place! I had a mocha that made my toes Curl, it was rich but not too sweet and my boyfriend raves about the coffee. The staff is warm and friendly and there is plenty of seating if you wish to linger. It is located in a bustling section of town as well but it stands out. Bravo to the owners, long live Mudsmith!

Service is always timely even when they have a full house. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. The bill was fair for the quality of food. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I loved.

Mudsmith has great coffee and a great atmosphere! You can run into quite a few studiers on the weekends so space can sometimes be an issue, but the shop is cool enough that it is worth giving it a shot. The coffees are always delicious with locally roasted beans, and the service is friendly.

arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. definitely worth going back to. i can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.

Mudsmith is a cute little coffee bar located in the Lower Greenville part of Dallas. It's such a staple in that neighborhood and I frequent there as often as possible. It's a very laid back environment and offers WiFi and tons of seating indoors and outside. They have a grand menu with lots of options. I'm usually a chai spice tea gal with a lemon danish. The food is cooked or baked fresh and is very good! You get what you'd expect from this place.

So this cafe inside design is cool. Nice inside sitting area and decoration however one of the staff that I interacted with was not friendly at all. I ordered a drink that didn't taste right and simply asked them to fix it ( which is a normal expectation) but the guy made such a wired face! He literally took over 20 min to fix the drink and he wasn't going to actually make it until I walked up to him and asked for it. I have to warn you about the bathrooms though- it's very dirty and disgusting.

The barista at Welborn location was extremely rude and made my drink wrong. When I asked him to remake the drink, he gave me an attitude and said it was made to my specification. When I asked for a manager, he said, “you are talking to him”. Didn’t offer to help or correct the issue and said I could pay for another cappuccino but he would make it exactly the same. Never going there again!!!

Love Mudsmith coffee, service, and atmosphere. Unpretentious and cozy.

The only place I ever spent $20 and left without asking for a refund. Less than qualified service, too many dead animal heads on the wall, dirty flatware left In a container that looked like sewer water. Other than animal carcasses, unfriendly staff, and sickening unsanitary flatware troughs the coffee was great...

Cool little place. Plenty of studying space. The coffee is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. $7.22 for a medium?!? Omg! Imagine the sticker shock. Who is bougie enough to afford that?!? Also, the terrifyingly huge antelope head on the way wasnt that inviting. The barista was a little off putting when I told him the order was wrong and also man-splained what a latte was... Umm thanks. I'll be more mindful next time and order appropriately.

I dig this place. If you’re looking for an indie coffee shop with an ultra-chill feel, this spot is hard to beat. The coffee is done right. The food options may be limited but I love that they have a proper bar where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. Another nice thing about this coffee shop is that they have a good draft beer selection, for when those coffe convo’s carry on too long for a third or fourth espresso. So definitely check out Mudsmith... it’s a solid spot.

There are definitely a bunch of great coffee shops around Dallas, but, nothing beats my ole' Mudsmith. It's situated on the cute street of Greenville; a collection of small shops and lively restaurants. It's my place to feel cozy and comforted by their delightful coffee. The atmosphere is rustic in a good way. The staff is always pleasant and I seem to strike a conversation with each of them every time I go. It's also a great place to work, study, or meet here for a casual date. It can get busy, but not necessarily bustling if you know what I mean. The KC's special is one of my go-to's, but their seasonal specials are quite exquisite. I'm usually picking from that list and get a different cup of coffee each time. Their food is actually good too! I don't mean to phrase it like that, but most times, places that are aesthetically pleasing with good coffee tend to drop the ball somewhere. Not here though. Any item that has bacon on it, get it. It's thick, crispy and well seasoned. I'm not much of a meat eater, but their bacon makes me one. I never miss a chance to stop by Mudsmith when I'm in town.

Good vibes, cool space, great coffee and chai. The cashier and the barista were both very kind on the Sunday afternoon that I came in. It was nice and cozy also. They had a bomb af almond croissant and a nice and light cheap chai. (I say cheap because it's less expensive than most other places, but don't let this distract you from the fact that it's 5 rupees in India.) just saying. Anyways, am looking forward to coming back here, the atmosphere, the people, and the coffee are all solid, go y'all keep up the good work.

I swear, the day I visited, the employees who seemed to get along just fine with one another---were complete polar opposites of each other personality-wise. One was this skinny, charming fellow who radiated kindness and sincerity ... and the other was silent and moody and a little rude. Thank goodness for that ray of sunshine of an employee or the other ones attitude would have soured me completely. I guess homie didn't like being asked questions---ever. I always have trouble finding the space in a coffee shop where you get your milk/sugar additions---and I guess that irritated him when I asked where that was. Later, I needed the WiFi and he saw me come over to him, I leaned into the bar, and very audibly said, "I'm sorry, could I trouble you for the WiFi password"....and he straight ignored me and walked away. Lolol... So I went and stood in line for Mr. Sunshine to help me out. While standing in line, I started scouring the walls for a sign with the password and I finally found it and went back to my seat. Trust me, I say this often enough in my reviews---I absolutely don't think that service employees need to kiss your ass or even be friendly whatsoever when providing you your orders. They deal with ppl in their face all day and deserve medals for that. So, I don't need a smile with my service, or small talk or any level of chipper ness for me to be appreciative of them. BUT---when someone is rude or just doesn't provide you service ---that their hired to provide---that irritates me. Moving on... I always order drip coffee, and their coffee is solid. There are plenty of spaces to sit and work or read and I love the ambiance of this space. A lot of people camp out and work here and I think that's lovely---but if you come here to just catch up and chat with your friends, this isn't a place where you feel like you'd have to whisper or keep it quiet, which is great. Love the gender neutral bathrooms which were very clean and that's very appreciated! I'd recommend it.

A good cuppa when you need it. Vibe is a bit hipster but cool. It was laid back but busy area with a lot of traffic, car and foot. Hard to find parking but worth a try if you are in the area.

I attempted this place instead of my usual coffee shop to study and do work, picked it based exclusively off of yelp reviews. Ambiance: Kinda gives off a dirty dark bar vibe, smells alittle musty on this rainy day. Coffee: Tried their version of a pumpkin latte, not bad, a little squash aftertaste but the coffee/espresso was good. Studying Environment: it was a little crowded but ample outlets for laptop work, but it was a but dank and darknin there to actually do any work. Overall I would go to some of the other coffee shops in the neighborhood rather than here...but you try it and decide.

The coffee was excellent the service was SNOBBY and arrogant Would never return based on the service. Good coffee you can get at many other places. Although that being said every place deserves a second chance. Just won't be by me this trip.

Great spot serving local coffee, sandwiches, and baked goods. Spacious and truly Texan interior with taxidermy beasts, wooden tables and rafters, and a low lit atmosphere.

I've lived in Dallas for a while and have lived near the mudsmith for over a year now and have never been. Atmosphere:( / ) It does take some time to find parking because they are right on Greenville. But there is free valet parking across the street during certain times. its a nice spot to study or catch up with friends. Now they're were a lot of flat, but Thats because the door was open due to the line forming. There is also free WiFi, which the code is provided near the register. Food: (5 / 5) I ordered an iced Americano and their turkey club wrap. And my friend got the Blondie. Both were awesome. They also have a water area for free. Staff: (5 /5 ) Nice and courteous, nothing to worry about. Always moving. Cleanliness: (4 /4 ) Minus the flys, its very clean.

Summary if you don't feel like reading this extra long review: Good place to work and get things done with multiple outlets and good coffee. Also, a place to show off your parallel parking skills. I don't usually write reviews but I just happened to be bored enough so this is your warning that this is a long review. There's street parking out front, not sure if there's parking anywhere else but I happened to find one right smack in front of the door so I went for it. For those who have anxiety parallel parking, this might be your worst nightmare. The street is only two lanes, was pretty busy, and so many were cars driving by. Luckily a friendly driver in a truck stopped so I could park resulting in a backup to the next light down. After 5 tries, I succeeded in parking my baby Carla. First thing you see is this giant door with a handle that I can barely wrap my hands around to go inside. The door reminded me of one of those doors from a horror movie where you open and it creaks real loud letting the monsters know you've arrived. I came during the day to work just to get out of the office so it was pretty well lit if you sit under the skylights. Free WiFi with a password that they have written on a little sign where you pick up your order. The WiFi dropped a few times but it wasn't slow. Also, plugs galore! You will not lack for electrical outlets and scramble to turn your brightness down on your laptops/tablets. I do suggest bringing headphones if you don't want to eavesdrop on everyone's conversations since sound does carry throughout the place. Last but not least, since it was my first time here I ordered a basic iced latte since it was almost 90 degrees and not even noon yet. Solid coffee with a smooth flavor. I'm not an expert on coffee but I at least know good from bad and this was good! Apparently they also have food so I will be trying that out next time!

A great spot for a quick coffee break and relatively quiet location to get some work done. Plenty of space indoors and a patio in the front when the weather is nice.

On our most recent trip to Dallas, our Airbnb was around the corner so we came here multiple times. We went with a group and between us ordered a cold brew, a latte, a smoothie, some orange juice (so fresh, so good!), some croissants and toast. Everything was good and it had a nice eclectic vibe, the people were all friendly as well. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Lower Greenville for some more orange juice.

If there was another coffee shop within walking distance, I would go there instead. You walk in the door at Mudsmith and the workers look at you but don't acknowledge you for a minute. They are not very friendly at all. They make me feel unwelcome. The chai is just ok. The atmosphere is nice but dark. I do like the outdoor seating.

Great coffee shop (and then some). The food menu seems worth sampling - something I don't often feel about coffee shops - and I'll be back to do that. For now, I can say that this is a perfect place to sit and get some work done, and that the coffee is solid.
