I’ve been impressed with my time at Nexgen over the past month. My trainer is professional, creative and took the time to understand my goals, abilities and challenges. The facility is top notch and the privacy of having a dedicated space is quite a luxury. For me, it’s a great fit.

I have been going to NexGen since the spring and look forward to my session each time. Angela is amazing at knowing exactly what I need to strengthen and carefully monitors my balance all while motivating me to work harder. My energy has increased and my balance has improved. They deserve 5 stars.

I've been attending Nex Gen Fitness in Preston Hollow for 2 years now and can confidently vouch for their excellent 1-on-1 personal training. The results I've achieved through consistent sessions are evident and impressive. Not only do they have good equipment, but their trainers are also genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. What sets them apart further is their flexible scheduling, catering to my busy work/travel schedule. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their fitness journey!

I wanted to love this place, truly I did. Here are my thoughts:The good -Personal training without fighting for equipment or tons of people watching. Great trainers, good workouts, decent atmosphere and equipment.The bad -Expensive, although for what you get, that’s to be expected. During my time there, I experienced quite a bit of employee turnover towards the end. Not sure if it’s that way all the time, but I really didn’t like having to change once I’d gotten into a groove with a trainer.The ugly -All these 5 star reviews? When you join, the owner literally tells you he’ll give you a free training session in exchange for a glowing review. Not only is that a questionable business practice, it’s downright contradictory to Google’s terms of service.Also, Justin will tell you that you can schedule your workouts weekly based on what’s available week to week so you don’t have to be locked in to an inconvenient time each week, but after you sign up he’ll constantly try to get you to take the 8:15 pm Monday appointment. Even when I told him no, he still kept trying to pigeonhole me into a time. What happened to the flexibility I was promised before I parted with my money?Overall not the most horrible experience I’ve ever had, but I certainly didn’t re-sign once I finally used all my slots.

NexGen has been a great place for me to restart my fitness journey. I have been training with Angela now for some time and she truly understood my goals and we are working each day more and more to meet them. She is great and I truly enjoy working out at NexGen. Thank you Angela for pushing me to be a healthier person each day.

I am so happy I decided to train with NexGen fitness. From the start I have been very satisfied with their professionalism, communication and availability. They do not make you feel pressured or try to push packages on you but offer you some options and let you decide. The facility is very clean and they disinfect in between clients. Everyone is very friendly and my trainer Andi has been excellent and flexible with scheduling when needed. The owner, Justin, was also very quick to get in touch and easily helped guide me though what option would work best for me. Overall excellent establishment and I’m thrilled to be back working on my fitness goals again. Highly recommend!

I've had a great experience all around with NexGen on Preston. Justin (the owner) is quick to communicate, friendly, and easy to work with. I have worked out with a few of their trainers over the past few months, all are great, and I highly recommend Trinity. His attention to detail and customization for my exercise needs, goals, and capabilities have been fantastic.They really helped me establish a working, sustainable routine and I haven't felt this good in years.It's a great, local business with great service. You get what you pay for with a trainer. I've been able to work out with several over the past 10 years, and this has been one of the best experiences. I highly recommend you reaching out and asking for a trial, you won't regret it.

I love this place! I finished my 7th session last night and am starting to feel the difference in my body. Matt is my trainer...he's awesome. He pushes me much further than I would myself. All the staff are friendly and professional. I love having everything set up and just moving through the workouts efficiently. The workouts are still really tough... but now I'm excited and looking forward to each session!

Amazing one-on-one training that is well planned and tailored to your specific needs and goals!The trainers are so professional and care about giving you the best workout possible.The gym is small, so only a handful of people are ever inside at once. They take cleaning seriously and you can feel totally secure in knowing they take your health and safety seriously.I cannot recommend NexGen Fitness enough! The best investment in myself I've ever made!

I absolutely love NexGen Fitness! The trainers are awesome and very knowledgeable. They really customize your workout to your needs and goals. I have bad knees and they're very conscience of that. If there's an exercise I can't do they have a backup ready. Because this is a private training gym there are only ever a few people in the building at a time, and they take cleaning between clients Very seriously! I feel much safer Covid-wise, than I would at a big box gym. If you're looking to be stronger or healthier in 2021, this is the place to start!

I found NexGen on my quest to health and wellness in the midst of COVID. NexGen has not only provided a safe and clean environment that challenges me physically but a whole outlook on working out. Each of my trainers provide me with creative and exciting workouts. I have never done the same thing twice which keeps me engaged every time. I leave each work out recharged and excited for my next session. I feel significantly stronger and more confident. In just a few sessions, I am already seeing improvement in my endurance, strength and overall physique. I originally only committed to 25 sessions, but can't see my self going back to a traditional gym. I look forward to being in it for the long haul with NexGen.
