About Nicaraguita Mex
Nicaraguita Mex is a small, delicious Nicaraguan food spot located in the far left corner inside the Bazaar at 712W. Walton Walker. It has limited seating and hours based on the Bazaar's operation. The food is incredible and delicious, with highlights being the really good nacatamal—generous with fillings and meat—and the delicious carne asada de res and fresco de cacao. The service is extremely friendly, attentive, and good, though there can be a wait. Some find it a little pricey but note the gallopinto, fried cheese, and salad had good flavor. It is cash only or Zelle.

Nacatamal here are really good, very generous with the fillings and meat. As well as good masa to filling ratio. Went home and weighed one tamale and it was around 2 pounds.

Located in the back left corner of the bazaar, cash only or Zelle. Nacatamal and carne asada de res were delicious, as was the fresco de cacao.
