NorthBark Dog Park exceeded my expectations with its spacious layout, offering a dedicated fenced area for large dogs, small dogs and an area with a body of water for dogs to swim. Overall, a delightful experience for both pets and their owners.

Clean, spacious, good trail, love that they have a section for small dogs because my pup is too old to fight off a big bully or pup that doesn't know it's size

Fantastic dog dog park, we are absolutely hooked and go every weekend now! Friendly dogs, friendly owners. Huge open space for the dogs to play/explore. So glad the lake is sectioned off so I don’t have to worry about my non-swimmersDog-friendliness: So far we haven’t had a single issue, all the dogs that have been there when we’ve been are super friendly

Best dog park in DFW. It is always clean and maintained. It is a huge dog park divided into three large areas. One area for dogs under 30 lbs. One area for large dogs. A third area with a very large pond for dogs that like swimming. There are plenty of trees so ample shade. Several water fountains for both humans and dogs. Fence around entire park is in good repair with no gaps. There are also several concrete benches to sit on while your dog plays.

While it is large, this dog park is lacking in many areas. From the car to even in the pond there is trash everywhere, and though I didn't see any broken glass or dangerous items, I wouldn't be surprised. Along with being trashy the park also just needs plenty of maintenance, the grass is terrible, tree limbs everywhere look like they are about to fall, one of the gates to the large dog park doesn't open, and the pod is dirty. Also I think the advertised 22 acres includes all parks and the parking lot. and the fences are only 5ft tall. easy for and large dog to jump over.I see great potential in the park just not there right now.

Very dirty and unsafe. There were gunshots fired while we were there!!! Someone was circling the parking lot looking for cars to break into. The off leash part is separated into small and big dog sides plus the water. None of the areas are very large definitely not the 22 acres the description claims. My small dog got a ton of burrs from the grass. Avoid at all costs!!! Wind haven dog park is only 10 mins away and very nice and safe

Worst park I have been to in the dfw area. Needs more maintenance and police presence!Trash everywhere literally picked up freon and spray cans. The water is super polluted with a lot of trash, empty bottles, spray cans, and various other trash. Folks are not picking up their pups p*** so the park is full of it. No shaded areas to sit y'all will be boiling in the heat. The ground is all rock and dirt with exposed tree roots.Thieves circling the parking lot stopping next to cars, I got lucky I got to my car in time...Thorne's(Stickers)all over the park, pulled out around 30 from my dogs paws...The only upside is the size of it.Literally the worst. Go to mcinnish!

Super fun day at the “Dog-o lake”. So glad I found this dog park. My silly Lab Mix does not like our pool. She grew up in the North East and prefers lakes and rivers over the pool. Worth the 20 minute drive from Plano.Mostly clean, dog owners need to grab the p*** bags (free for the taking) and use them. Other than that, we had a great experience at the wooded lake. Whisper made some new friends and even tried playing for a hot minute. She is a senior (13 years old), so to see her try and play was great fun.Restrooms: There is a port-a-potty in the parking lot.Dog-friendliness: All the dogs seemed to get along just fine. Just remember not to let your dog stray to far from where you are. Just in case they get in a scuffle.Picnic area: There is a covered picnic area to have lunch.

This place is huge! The have a pond if your pup likes to swim and a small dog park as well! Plenty of shade too! They got a portapotty. They also do have hoses so you can wash your pet off before heading home. I come back every other week.

This is the best of any dog parks I’ve visited. It has the typical dog park features you’d expect: separate small/large dog areas, double gates for leashing/unleashing, water fountains, secure and fenced wide open space. There’s lots of shade and sun and plenty of room. Even when it’s busy, I’ve never felt crowded there. Places for people to sit, but nothing luxurious. ;) The dog water fountains (to drink or rinse off mud) weren’t working for a long time but today I saw that they are.The best part is the large pond for wading or swimming (for the dogs!). Great for throwing the ball if your dog actually returns one. LolI should note this review is for the large dog side… I’ve never been to the small dog side.Restrooms: Nope!Dog-friendliness: Perfect!

Needs better care. Doesn't compare to White Rock Dog Park They don't provide any shaded sitting areas.
