Misrepresentation, and untruths makes one question everything and confirms Not to ever go back to Odyssey Pets and to pass the word. I had my wife personally call and speak to Love Fur Dogs in Glencoe,Il. who Kristin stated she was "mentored by the owner Jennifer Bishop Jenkins". Kristin never has been mentored by Jennifer Bishop Jenkins or anyone from her establishment! She took one class perhaps (zoom) cold/cool water has never been mentioned, They also mentioned, they Highly encourage only warm water or tepid water, and they need to have the owner change the mindset of Kristin's thinking " their exact words." They also mentioned they spoke to the owner, of Odyssey Pets and made it Very Clear tepid water or warm water should be only used on any dog being washed. Ms. Jenkins also made them remove the misrepresentation of any mentorship mentioned in their postings. PLEASE Share this. misrepresentation is one element of common law fraud,.

We just went on the Odyssey Pets face book page, Only to see the lady we overheard instructing another to rinse the dog in cold/cool water after shampooing their dog. She is listed on November 20-2023 as employee of the month, Kristin. Pray for these poor vulnerable pets and their owners that are not aware of the health risk. Thankful my partner and I heard this. Horrifying that you hand your precious cargo over to a handler, assuming they're in safe hands, but come to find out your pet is at risk of going into possible shock from getting a cold rinse, so much for a "day at the spa". [refer to the google review ] Praying for these pets not to go into shock. No dog would like a cold rinse, especially a elderly dog, a dog with arthritis, etc. My partner reassured me we won't be bringing our baby back! referring to google reply from owner- Reply to the owners' comments- We completely understand having to protect and side with an employee. However, we feel strongly and comfortable by saying a vet goes to school 9 yrs. 4 yrs. which are undergraduate than another 5yrs vet school most have additional internship, than they have to take and pass the bar exam. We believe that would trump your "groomer of the months" certificate she is studying for to get her masters in grooming. I will stick to the knowledge and medical expertise of a vet., that we have known for yrs. Good luck clients on the safety of their groomer who is studying to get her "master certificate.

We came in today to do a daycare assessment on my German Shep/Great Pyrenees mix. He is a Covid dog and hasn't been socialized much. They handled him so well. Justin was Amazing! He was very thorough and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend. They offer a free assessment with a free full day the same day as the assessment. I also got this cute report card. As I was checking out I found mystery bags for $25 and couldn't help myself. Glad I got the mystery bag, it was full of goodies and included a $5 coupon off clearance. The guys at the front desk were also amazing!

I am very disappointed with Odyssey. We dropped our toy poodle off at 7:30. We were the first clients there. I didn't get the call to pick up my dog until 3.30. 8 hours later. They say drop of is first come first serve, but when I complained... I was told boarders come first???? We also left specific instructions about how we wanted him cut, different than the traditional cut. The instructions were not followed. When I called this to their attention, they pulled his card with notes and it stated "same as normal." I'm really disappointed in Odyssey, and more disappointed that there was no attempt to make it right.

Karla is an amazing groomer! I was super nervous as I have an older dog with lots of lumps and bumps, etc. But Karla did an incredible job grooming Hadassah. She looks fabulous, exactly as I hoped, with perfectly trimmed short nails, and she wasn't nervous when I picked her up. I am super impressed with Karla's skill, demeanor, kindness, willingness to work with me, and above all, her sweet love for my doggie! The whole team at Odyssey Pets is over the top helpful and kind! They have all the best quality foods, accessories, treats, toys, clothing, and everything I could want for my dog. I highly recommend Odyssey Pets. I highly recommend Karla as a groomer!

After shopping here for years I asked employee to recommend a tough toy... I described the breed, now I know any toy can be torn apart and I have found some that lasted a month but told this is made from fire hose. I spent around 240.00 that day purchasing a car seat & much more. Under supervision the toy lasted 1 hour. I saved the toy & decided to d stop my ask for a credit. One hour I am not paying 20.00. I was treated rudely by the manager who stated" we don't make the toys here" and refused to see the toy or exchange. I wrote the owner. Only one name given & the reply was long and rude advising me to not leave my dog alone. Now how would she know this. I contacted who makes the store and dealt with professionally. Hollywood feed. Covers everything... professional & supports their customers If you give up a customer for 20.00 your in the wrong business.... Total Fail

So. I gave Odyssey Pets a poor review about a year ago and thought, Oh well, it’s been a year now and prior to that I had used them several times without issue and called to schedule an appointment. So, to my surprise if you give them a bad review they do not want your business. I’m truly surprised because it implies that passive aggressiveness “if you disagree with us we will not provide a service to you.” Customer service, from my understanding, is to grant other opportunities for a pleasant outcome.Of course that can provide service for anyone and refuse whomever they choose. I just thought this was overkill. Thankfully there’s a gazillion groomers in the DFW and they are not all petty.Deuces

I came here for some dog food and they have a fantastic selection here. They always have great deals and specials too. I’ve been very satisfied each time I come here. Very diverse and expansive aquatic selection too.

Karlie is one of the best groomers in the area, so pleased we found her. She is everything and more that was recommended to me. Gentle, pays attention to detail, the loves for her pups shows. Will definitely be back.

A wonderful place to shop for your pets. There are several great pet stores around me, and Odyssey is my go to: they groom, and board, and welcome their customers (two leggers and four!) very warmly and always have little treats they give out. Best groomers ever! My miniature golden doodle pulls me into the shop, and when he’s getting groomed he pulls the assistant down the hall at a run to get to his groomer. It’s so hot lately for walking and dog park, so some days Teddy and I just take a short walk there and hang out with their fun staff! I Love Odyssey!!!

**your response is like a politicians. This has zero to do with you taking vaccines for dogs serious and all to do with a lack of communication...you have all the info on our dogs when we book. No reason to redirect and talk about the obvious. I can promise you nobody told me anything about soon to expire vaccine. Take the L We missed our flights...so that's cool Never again. Great for dog toys, decent for fish supplies HORRIBLE for dog boarding. We booked 2 dogs for boarding over a month ago. Showed up today (holiday weekend) and was told one of the dogs had a recent expired shot. Needless to say this ruined a number of things and added a ton of unnecessary stress. The guy at the front said "have a great day" as I was undeniably annoyed...solid customer service on top of it. No phone call before...they have known about our booking for a long time. I was told they "send emails or tell you about it at time of booking." Absolutely didn't say anything at time of booking and emails?! If you get as many garbage emails as me and have a job that fills up your inbox...this is laughable as a solution. There are plenty of other places to go, why risk your holiday weekend plans for a company who clearly doesn't do the proper work upfront to insure the stay is smooth.

Groomed my dogs did a great job. Listen and did exactly what I asked. Consulted me on a fish tank issue and how to best take care of an issue there. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great fresh and salt water fish selection. All in all a great pet store, full-service grooming and boarding. They were so great with the dogs they were setting for during the day while I was there picking up my dogs and interacting with them being so sweet. To the dogs they were boarding as well as mine. Very impressive.

I love Odyssey Pets! They are so sweet with my hyper pit bull mix and I don't need an appointment for day care! I love the helpful tips that they send and especially the last one on how to red a dog food can label! They actually greet you when you walk in the door and they have wonderful sale events!
