The morning breakfast waitress, Tigi, was the most attentive person I have ever experienced. Even when the restaurant area was full, she was able to balance all of the clients with ease and professionalism without forgetting if we needed butter, sugar, water, whatever. She was always there for us. I only wish more dining personnel were as competent as she was. Additionally, she has a beautiful personality and that endeared her to us. Thanks for maintaining at least one exceptional "star" for our business adventure to your hotel.

I liked the location of this hotel. We were able to walk to many places we were interested in. I didn’t like paying for parking, but I was happy they had self parking, and I didn’t have to wait for valet. The staff were all very friendly. Our room was spacious ( we had a Jr suite), and I liked our view. My kids also enjoyed the pool. There is Starbucks in the lobby and Starbucks brand coffee in the rooms.

Nakita checked us in and was incredibly polite and helpful with recommendations, there was a long line at check in but it moved quickly. In the morning, Starbucks in the building was closed (it was Saturday) so they had complimentary coffee in the lobby. Ehab was refilling it and we enjoyed a friendly chat with him. The staff and rooms at this hotel are remarkable, we will now make this our go-to hotel when we visit Dallas.

I have traveled to Dallas for business trips a few times, and this is my first time staying at the Westin. Overall, impressed by the clean, fresh aesthetics when you enter; my room was great - comfy bed, AC stayed at desired temperature (and wasn't temp controlled), bathroom had a modern look (with a VERY comfy bathrobe!) and floor was quiet. The customer service was great - check in was fairly smooth, I ordered room service which arrived sooner than expected. Front desk was great - Shout out to Rachel who was so accommodating in giving me the option to stay another night if I needed, as the weather was likely to delay/cancel my flight the next day, and said I could cancel day of without being charged if I didn't need the extra night. This was a huge relief! Likely to return on my next trip!

Great staff, location, and room! I originally booked a standard king for my 4 day stay but when i checked in she upgraded me to a Jr suite! I'm assuming because of my bonvoy status, but it was still a nice surprise. The suite was huge and it was just me, I loved it. Ordered room serve on my last night, amazing, fresh and fast. If room service is coming from the same restaurant on property, im sure its goo.

This Westin Hotel in downtown Dallas seemed dated and tired. I was in town for a conference and stayed here. There were many conference attendees who stayed here too, and the check-in process was not smooth and took way longer than expected. The staff at reception seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests checking in at the same time. There was a long line up and it took >30 minutes to get through. When I finally got to my room, the swipe key card did not activate properly. I had to return downstairs to Reception where there was still a long line of people. It took me another 15 minutes to get the key card properly activated by a staff member. The room itself was much larger than expected. Unfortunately, it was not very clean with hairs all over the place including the bathroom floor, in the sink and all over the shower. I made the mistake of looking under the bed and the floor was covered in dustballs, hairballs and some plastic wrappers. The windows were streaked so I couldn't even enjoy the view from the 30th floor. The bathroom mirror was covered in spots. Since I was attending a conference and did not spend much time in my room, I cleaned up the hairs from the bathroom and wiped the mirror myself. The hotel was sold out so I could not get another room even if I tried, so I had no choice but to stay put. The Westin seems like an extremely busy hotel, with rooms and guests turning over constantly. My guess is that my room was not cleaned properly as the housekeeping staff was in a rush to turn it over.

I have some great memories from the late 80’s working at The Patio with Jim Denton and then Dan the Popcorn Man. It was a very different city back then. It was gritty and had character.

Was just in for a quick stay and not sure if I got an awesome upgrade or not, but the room was fabulous. Very spacious and clean. Bar was great and very quiet. Lobby is spacious and staff were responsive to my couple of requests. Highly recommend.

The Westin Dallas Downtown is my favorite place to stay when I travel to Dallas on business. Here are just a few reasons why I like this hotel so much: * Hospitality: the associates here are warm, friendly, and welcoming. That really makes a difference when you are away from home! * Rooms: the rooms are well-appointed, larger than average, and in great condition. It's easy to get work done, get some good sleep, or just hang out. * Location: the hotel is conveniently located downtown, and I've found it very easy to get to client locations or the airport. As a frequent business traveler, I really value hotels like this where you feel welcome and comfortable. It definitely improves my productivity on business trips and gives me an oasis to retreat to after a long day of work! I've stayed at this hotel several times, and I will definitely go out of my way to stay here again.

The room was excellent and comfortable. Concierge was awful - ordered in-room dining, did not receive part of the order. I called concierge and was told that there were 15-20 people in line at the front desk and I needed to wait on hold. I waited for 15-minutes and the call was dropped. I called again and was told the same thing, when I was said I didn't want to be put on hold, I just needed the other part of my order. I was told again that there were 15-20 people in line and I needed to wait. I called back from my cell phone, got the same person with a different attitude. All of a sudden there was no line and he was going to send the rest of my order up. It never came. We also dropped a jacket between the front desk and our room. No one ever turned it in to the front desk. We are quite sure it was stolen by someone. No one in the hotel would help us. The amenities store was sparse as well. I would not return to stay here again. Very disappointing. Certainly would never order in-room dining again.

I stayed at the Westin Downton Dallas for the IACP from Oct 13-19, came all the way from Serbia! I checked in with my CC, all good. They checked me out with my room number but to a different name and CC?!?! I noticed that on the plane back and now having trouble closing expenses. Who do I contact since I will need a clean invoice to my name with tax deducted? Name, phone, and email please?!?!? Help!!!

From the UK attending IACP 2022 International Police conference group booked by ICAP into a 'luxury' downtown hotel the Westin. Having travelled the world staying at any Marriott is a sign of excellence therefore really looking forward to the 8 day stay. Being a disabled UK veteran in a hired vehicle the underground car park was a big plus. Staff very helpful and two restaurants on-site very good as are breakfasts however rather limited and expensive selection. The only really BIG negative is the hotel's dire Broadband making any business use to catch up with emails using hotel WiFi is virtually impossible. I am writing this review at 6.50pm Sunder 16th October and very very disappointed with the 65mbs on-line upload, never mind terrible download. This is seriously affecting my ability to run essential admin back in Britain. At these per night prices no modern hotel should inflict this on their clients, especially a Marriott. Desk staff just apologised me. Marriott needs to look at Mead WiFi as this simply isn't good enough. To date we can confirm this is an ideally sited location in downtown Dallas only few minutes by Uber or Lyft to the huge Conference Centre nearby. Wake up Marriott senior management..as this is not the hotel manager's problem, or his to resolve.
