The manu is confusing food is good the Manger is horrible I buy a drink by mistake I told him I want the hot one not the cold one told me I can't replace and what to charge me on the new one even due I return it right a way horrible costumer service from a manager that the only bad thing I have to say other then that good

I will begin by saying this place serves fresh, tasty food and it comes out fast.But if you're looking for value-priced food, friendly, personable service and comfort while dining, this is not the place.A group of us from the office arrived to this trendy spot in downtown on a Wednesday afternoon about 11:45am. There were six of us & we were expecting a sit-down lunch, only to find this place a tiny, narrow place with a very few tables in the back & a crowded counter in front to retrieve your order. Directly across from the counter are about 3 kiosks to place your order.I don't mind admitting I'm a bit of a food snob, but I will always give a place a try. I might have given more stars if:1) Someone would have acknowledged us when we entered - there were tons of staff in there & they were moving at a steady pace - not rushing.2) Someone would have walked around from the counter or at least shouted - place your order on the kiosk! Sure, they're right there in your face, but someone like me is not used to being forced to place my order this way, so I didn't even notice them.3) Would have been great if someone would have - dare I say - come out from behind the counter other than to place to-go orders on the rack. Tell us where our food will come out & where we go next. Actually tell us when we enter whether there is seating.After the big disappointment in ordering, we decided to take it to go and drove back to the office. I snapped a couple of photos of my food but due to the fact that a few people walked in right after us, we felt rushed to get out of there (is that the owner's preference, that no one dine there?), so I didn't take any photos of the place.I don't eat ramen (shocker, lol), so I ordered chicken thigh on steamed buns.Ingredients on their website menu: steamed bun filled with your choice of protein, greens, pickled vegetables & hoisin. On the kiosk, I thought I saw red onions & tried to remove it, but there was no option to get it the way I wanted. And the website informs you that you'll receive (2) but I didn't see that on the kiosk. All that time waiting I thought I paid $8 for one, ha.I have to admit it was delicious, so 5 stars for that. The meat was fresh and not greasy, the buns were light and great. I loved it.My co-worker ordered - Signature miso $14.50Website menu listed ingredients: creamy pork broth seasoned with sweet & nutty soybean paste, topped with pork belly, bamboo shoots, corn kernels, bean sprouts & green onion. She didn't want the bamboo shoots but there was no option to remove them. She's ordered from this place before, so she knew what she was getting and loved it.I love downtown and the little hole-in-the-wall places but I wish the person who selected this place would have done a little more research - it's definitely not a place to sit down & enjoy your lunch with 5 other people, but rather a place to order delivery from. Which is fine, since the food is good!

This was my boyfriends and i fave date night place, this is the 2nd time they screw us up, today was probably our sign to not go there anymore, my go to plate was the signature miso i always get medium spicy level (mind you I've been coming here for 3 years already) and my boyfriends always tries different platters. Tonight again my order was signature miso MEDIUM and my boyfriends was toyko black ramen, now he handles spicyness better than i do so he got FIRE. I go to take a bite of my food, i had ordered an extra soft boil egg, THERE WAS NONE, now this meal had an extra kick to it, i try to eat it cause i mean i did pay for it and i genuinely was craving it, it just got to a point where i couldn’t handle it. In the other hand my boyfriends platter has the soupiest tastiest broth ever and he choose FIRE. We know the spice policy obviously we know what we choose. My boyfriend told the guy upfront with the beanie about the broth situation he said “thats just the spice level”. For someone that has come 3 years consecutively i would know my favorite food and spice level. The previous situation was the noodles were undercooked no egg, no pork. Long story short they have to be more careful with what they serve, they could send someone to the hospital.

Best ramen Ive ever had! I ordered the Tokyo Black and it was so delicious! I usually have to "shuje" up my order but it was perfect! So good that my husband wanted to go back and try it again. So I ordered the Texas Mazemen and added broth. Again, Fire! Gyozas were nice and crispy. And service was super fast on busy and slow day.

Watch out when you order to go! Half of the soup base was full of burning ashes !! I thought was black sesame base and I was wrong! Felt sick ? try to call the restaurant and never able to get someone to answer the phone.

Had to leave a review, and i never leave reviews. Went with my sister who is in a wheelchair and I will tell you now, this place is not at all handicap accessible. Firstly, it was impossible to push her chair up the steep ramp to the door and also open the door for her. The employees just watched us struggle to open the door (the place was not busy at all) thankfully a kind patron enjoying their lunch helped us inside. Secondly, the kiosk system is not user friendly or accessible to someone in a wheelchair as the tablets don't lean down. Thirdly, the seating where she could reach a table *most every table is a high top or counter top seating* were down a narrow hallway by the back door. Utterly freezing. The food was unfortunate because it had all the makings to be delicious if not for the black garlic "oil" (that's how they call it on the menu as well) it was very gritty and made every bite taste burnt. The soups were not hot enough or enough food for the money paid. If I had not come along to lunch, this place would have been entirely inaccessible for my sister in her wheelchair. Really unfortunate, especially for this day in age. Will not be returning.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible at all.

Black tonkotsu ramen is good :) order by the kiosks and they’ll call your number to pick up the trays. They also have some seating outside in the back.
