PANOPTIKON is an underground alternative dance club night held every Friday inside the iconic Sons of Hermann Hall. Founded in 2006, it offers a great vibe with a music format of Industrial, Electro, Alternative, Darkwave, EBM, Retro, New Wave, Synthpop, and Gothic dark dance music. It is a goth/alt scene described as an actual Goth club, providing a safe environment and a top-tier atmosphere. The crowd is amazing, so nice, diverse, and welcoming, making it feel like another home away from home. People of all ages, from those in their 20s to 30+ and up to 55, can feel comfortable and have a good time. The cover is only $10. There is seating and tables available, along with two bars. They now have food, which receives great reviews. Occasional special nights on Saturdays feature other music types and themes like retro and disco nights, which are just as good and so fun. It is the best place to go for those who like 80s, industrial, and dark wave type music, creating a comfortable blend of a local bar and a nightclub where everyone can dance and feel welcome.
great vibe. 10 dollar cover and 9 dollar vodka diet cokes, what more could you want? some seating and tables available, and there’s another bar located in the venue with more seating available .

I've been going to Pan on and off for maybe a decade now. It's a goth/alt scene with plenty of millennials so you won't be out of place if you're 30+ but will still have a good time if you're in your 20s and just starting clubbing. It's a safe environment and Lord Byron is a good host.
