I cannot thank Paradise Funeral Home enough for the exceptional care they provided for my mom’s funeral. From the moment I contacted them, they were professional, empathetic, and incredibly organized. Mr. and Mrs. Washington guided me through every step with compassion and expertise, making a difficult time much easier to bear.
They handled everything seamlessly—from preparation for the funeral, to cemetery arrangements, to transportation—every detail was mapped out, thoroughly explained, and carried out with precision. Their pricing was transparent and reasonable, with absolutely no hidden surprises.
My mom was laid to rest with dignity, grace, and style, and I will forever be grateful. If you want peace of mind knowing your loved one will be honored and cared for, let Paradise take care of you. Mr. and Mrs. Washington will truly treat you like family.

My family used this funeral home for my grandmother, and it was the worst experience ever. The hours of operation were not accommodating, the older gentleman was very rude and was more concerned about getting off work. He told us that he does not prefer a family to schedule a service at noon. When we arrived at Laureland he gave us 10 minutes and 30 minutes at the repass. We asked if he had another service and he responded no. He drive very fast and complained the entire ride. I even saw a bottle of liquor in the family car. I would never recomment this place.

Everything was nearly perfect. The obituaries had MANY errors. No one sent it over to review the night before as stated & no one reached out after emailing them to let them know.

Although the timing was heartbreaking the service received was right on time. Mr Washington and Mrs. Jonnie and staff were calm, direct and very informative. They made this process the best experience they could considering the circumstance. Thank you Paradise for taking care of my late mother and our family ❤️

Recommend 100% from calling to the phone very professional filling out paper they help you at the actual burial they are there to help you very reasonable prices. My family was very satisfied with the funeral personal.Frankie helped my family and I beyond what he needed too. We are forever grateful.

To whom it may concern,Me and my family have an issue with this funeral home. Last year, my father past away in June. It is now February 25th 2023, and We do not have our father's death certificate. When I spoke to the CEO of Paradise funeral home, he stated he made a mistake on the paperwork and sent in the Amendment for the correction to the state. That we were at the mercy of the processing of the death certificate. It is now 8 months later and still no death certificate. This funeral home did not take care of us with care and because of their mess up, me and my sister has not been able to fully put our father to rest and take care of his financial obligations. There was no courtesy call from Paradise to inform us of the delay of the death certificate. Doing business with Paradise, may prolong your death certificate. They did not tell us that, nor were we notified. My sister had to make calls and follow up with everyone just to get the information. This is unprofessional and Paradise should go to the state and requesting the death certificate so everything can be resolved. But, they have not for the last 7 or 8 months.

Growing up my mother having no personal connection with the Washington's would always state if something happens to me have my services done through Paradise Funeral home and I never understood why until recentlyThe compassion an empathy that is displayed towards the families, The pride they take in their work, and the dignity that they give those that are being laid to rest is indescribable.My mother had been sick for years and no longer really looked like herself when it came time for me to view her body tears weld up in my eyes as I walked towards the casket but upon gazing at her the tears subsided.As crazy as it sounds this was the first time in years that I was able to actually see my beautiful mother and not her sickness.she looked as if she was resting I found myself waiting for her to exhale.Thank you Paradise Funeral for giving me that opportunity as I said my final goodbye's

I would like to say THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE STAFF AT PARADISE FUNERAL HOME. My Fathers funeral was amazing and beautiful. We couldn't do this without the help of Paradise . They walked me through the entire process STEP BY STEP AND I didn't feel like it was about the money not one time. They worked with me, and showed me and my family nothing but RESPECT THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS. It's not likely that the OWNERS STEP IN TO HELP, But Mr and Mrs Washington are the BEST AND IM FOREVER GRATEFUL.
