I had my car towed to this location on 1/12 after it stopped on me twice. I contacted the business to inform them that I’d be dropping off the vehicle and would like a diagnostic conducted on the vehicle to determine what was wrong. They said they would start first thing the next morning.
On 1/13 at 10am I called the business to get an update and they hadn’t begun the diagnostic but were about to start. They called me back in a few hours to say that the issue with my car was my battery. I asked clarifying questions and they assured me that the battery was causing my issues. The communication wasn’t clear or direct. When I asked how much the part was or how much the installation would be the guy kept giving me the total price instead of what I asked for. I just didn’t appreciate the communication. They provided a quote which was out of my price range so I had the car towed somewhere else to get the battery replaced.
After getting the battery replaced my car still stopped on me and I had to have the car towed again to another mechanic who determined that the engine needs to be replaced. I am now under the impression that the mechanics at Pep Boys DID NOT conduct a diagnosis but somehow came to the conclusion that the battery was no good. Had the diagnostic been conducted as requested I may not have be stranded on the side of the road for the third time in 24 hours. Please improve your communication when working with customers going forward. I asked the man direct question and would have to clarify 2-3 times before getting the correct answer. Which made me question his knowledge as a mechanic.

I don't recommend Pep Boys
The service was poorly done, later than promised.
The tires they installed were over inflated and I thought it was something more serious when I was driving on the highway after the installation.

My truck wouldn’t start when I picked it up. There was a nail on the battery negative terminal but all that needed to changed was the side bolt to tighten the battery cable on the negative terminal (a $2.00 part). The lower control arms were left loose after being inspected by this facility.

I had an appt at 10:30. Arrived was told the mechanics had just arrived and would get started on my vehicle. Very nice guy however at 11:30 nothing...I went up front to check there was a different person there and my car had not even been taken back! I told him I had an appt an hour ago and he said oh we will get you in then....no thanks. There were 2 mechanics on and they bay was full of cars that I was told had been left there overnight. HORRIBLE communication. I took my business elsewhere.

Made an appoint at 8AM today for tire service. I show up at 8AM and the place is closed, nobody in sight. Waited 10 minutes and left. It's not my first bad experience with these guys (alignment rack was down for several weeks a few months ago and had to go find another store to do m y alignment, and another time for an alignment job on a different vehicle they left the tie rods nuts loose and it tie rod came off while driving!...that could have been a deadly accident, thank God it wasn't bad.)
I'm absolutely done with this place.

I love this Pep Boys location. The new manager Adrian is fantastic. He super helpful, listens to our concerns, and is great with providing updates & communicating! My husband and I have had both of our cars serviced here and the customer service is wonderful.

Adrianne, the new manager, was great! Fastest oil change of my life. I told him I was in a hurry and he shocked me how quick he was. Appreciated it.

I got my oil changed and a tire replaced.
Customer service was awesome to me, but the oil change was pretty pricey. The tire price was fair. If the oil change was a little cheaper, this would be 5 stars. If you're not worried about price too much, this is the place for you. I would call ahead and set an appointment time. I didnt but they worked with me so that earned big brownie points.
I went at 10am on a Monday and they were moderately busy. Took about an hour to get finished.

The mechanic was upset after I told him that the cost was to expensive. I went to another mechanic and he told me the sparks plugs and the injectors were fine but Pep Boys said they needed to be replaced. The other mechanic was almost $500.00 less.
