I ordered HM FULL SYNTHETIC online (I checked the "Pennzoil Synthetic or High Mileage Synthetic" box) and received CONVENTIONAL. I checked prior work orders and the same substitution occurred. The Advisor told me that's what they used for HM. Why have an option for SYNTHETIC if the shop is just going to substitute a lesser quality oil?

This place is the only place I will take my car. This particular location has nothing but wonderful people working here that have always been honest and upfront with me.Particularly, I have to shoutout Scott, who is just a wonderful, professional employee. He always treats us with such kindness and is an awesome person. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else!!!

I was so happy to find someone who could help me put my rearview mirror back up when it came unglued a few months ago. Everywhere I went to get it glued back, they would tell me, "Oh we don't do that kind of thing." I even went to an auto parts store, purchased the special glue made for this purpose, attempted to reglue it myself with No luck whatsoever. The mechanic Misa was outstanding and very professional. John in the office was equally good. THANK YOU guys so very much. ~:)

Purchased my tires online since there was a promotion on the tires I selected. I got there 10 minutes before my appt and added an oil change to my service. It took them almost 3 hours to complete everything. Not sure if they were short staff or what but I couldn’t believe how long it took.FYI this location doesn’t do State Inspections although the website states they do. The guy at the cash register was very helpful he did let me know once I asked for that service. He was very sweet, but the amount of time it took them to service my vehicle was absolutely insane.Maybe when they get a bit more staff the service will be quicker. Otherwise it’s a great place.

Ordered online and saved over $100. I got there 10 minutes before my appointment. The car was on the lift right away and all four tires installed within 30 minutes. Best deal on tires

More pricy than I was expecting, but my car runs so much smoother. They quickly diagnosed the problem, completed it in a timely manner, had excellent communication and did reliable work. I will be returning for future oil changes and inspections

Update: I upped to 2 stars after visiting a 4th Pep Boys in Weatherford, where Mason totally fixed the problem the first Pep Boys started. Clearly, it’s not about the franchise name, but finding the right shop. The Weatherford location was finally worth the visit.1 STAR: NEVER AGAIN, PEP BOYS. NEVER. I hope at least they can finish the job they started & that I paid for — and then I’m FINISHED WITH THEM.1. Called the FIRST Pep Boys in Dallas for a flat tire & was told my service wait would only be 20 mins if I arrive soon. 2 more walk-ins who arrived literally 2 mins ahead of me & I was made to wait. They replaced my tire sensor & then said they can’t program the sensor because “they don’t have the right equipment for it.” WAS TOLD TO GO TO ANOTHER PEP BOYS TO FINISH THE JOB.2. I then went to a SECOND Pep Boys in Arlington with an appointment the next day. THEY WERE AN HOUR BEHIND & TOLD ME TO COME BACK ANOTHER TIME.3. Went to a THIRD Pep Boys in Ft. Worth & was told they don’t have the right software for my sensor either — EVEN IF THE SENSOR CAME FROM ANOTHER PEP BOYS. They also told me that it could be because “your Prius is a hybrid & there are Priuses that are gas-only, so maybe that’s it…” **To be clear, ALL Priuses are HYBRIDS. My point is that the service is unreliable, unfortunate & totally discourteous of their customers’ time.Why bother with online appointments at ALL? And if you can’t finish a job, please find a better solution before a customer is put out.
