I attended Pride Rehabilitation from December 2022-June 2023 when I received my impairment rating. I injured my shoulder at the fire department, had surgery four months after I was injured due to worker’s comp incompetence. I struggled through other physical therapist and doctor’s that just couldn’t help because of worker’s comp or wouldn’t help. When I arrived at Pride, I can say that everyone there from Dr. Powell, the occupational therapist, the physical therapists, the exercise therapists, John(my case manager) all wanted me to succeed. My previous Dr. and pt therapist pushed me to extreme levels of pain trying to make me quit, which I did not. That doctor released me as a pt and that is when I found Dr. Powell.I had therapy twice a week, eight hours a day. My issue with the shoulder was elevating above level without pain and pain and lack of power above level. When you lose something you love, like the ability to do things and the job you love, it becomes a little mental too. I felt like I worked hard in all phases, got my mind right, got in shape in other aspects and came out of it better than when I started there.I had little improvement in my shoulder and had to retire from the fire department but I am able to do a little more now almost two years later. My shoulder probably was never going to get much better but many of the things I learned while attending there have changed my life and made me better.Thank youJason Rogers

When the workers comp Dr. tells you, during your impairment rating, that the follow-up appointments are unnecessary it's difficult to believe these people have your best interest in mind. I'm extremely disappointed in the way my case was handled. If you can avoid treatment here, it would be in your best interest. My appointment has been canceled.

Sigh - NO, no, no, no... I could not believe my doctor referred me to this place. The people seem nice (most of them) so do not take this as a review of the staff but the overall facility and program is NOT beneficial and is not very accommodating. If you are doing some workers comp, stay away from work thing, or just need some BASIC general rehab for small injuries, then sure why not. But if you or your family wishes to see improvements and have good 'medical focused care' then just go somewhere else.

Thank you to all of the physical therapist, John, the nurses, office personnel and Dr Allen for helping me through my injury to get me back to work and life. I loved the stretch class even though my body fought it but I got my flexibility better. And my mind in a better way of thinking with all the classes I took. Nutrition class was by far the most helpful. Even though we gave Chris a hard time but he rolled with it and made it a fun learning experience. I can't thank them enough. Dr Allen is by far one of best doctors I had seen during my injury. And his nurse shows she cares about you. The people in this place is what makes it a great place to get better.

Pride was a life line at first a place to go 3 times a week instead of just being home bound. I found the breathing exercises far more effective than I thought, the stretching exercises were just as valuable. Compared to where I was in the beginning to now is a great improvement. I want to thank the staff and Doctors great people, the whole experience was good. John Mc.

I had a great experience at Pride Rehabilitation in Dallas during the many hours it took to mend me! The caring Doctors, Nurses, the Office personal and especially the rehab therapy staff is the worlds best! They not only worked on my injury but also my physical health but also my mental frame of mind to help my physical injury to heal and get stronger, I may not get to 100% as I was before but they helped me get close to 100% as my injury would allow me with all the care and attention they afforded me to do my very best to get back to work and to maintain my physical health in the future with the tools they instilled in me to get on with my life! Again I owe many Thank you’s to all the therapy staff at Pride who with out you and your professionalism’s and your caring I WOULD NOT be at my best now ! Thank you ! Rory Campos

Although this facility is very far from my home, I traveled to it, because I was injured and needed to regain my strength and flexibility! I am graduating today with a full release back to work! I have a very strenuous job, and I’m headed back! This is a full program, with all required doctors, practitioners, case managers, physical therapists and psychologists on staff and available to their patients! Thank you for helping me regain my life!

The doctor I seen has no ethics and need to retire,l. I was injured at this facility and they never would do a Witten report and they tried to put the blame on my old injured, but the reality is the methods they used wasn't good for me. For example, your weight regiment goes up daily and they never tell you how much your lifting, and if you're not fit an injured can occur. I was injured at Pride and the doctor told me i could use my prive insurance to cover the bill, and the it didn't matter where the money came from... Be very careful when going to pride for thepary and document evey thing because they are evil and they will lie and cover up the truth.

This place is the best. They are very knowledgeable with every aspect of helping you deal with your injury. They are very polite and attentive to your needs. They can also assist you with paperwork if you receive something and don't understand it. The classes they teach are very informative. This place is so well rounded. They treat your mind and body. I would recommend this place to anyone that is hurt and really want to get back to some type of normalcy in their life post injury.

Love the energy that PRIDE puts out. I am very satisfied with the amount of knowledge and effort they provide to every individual. I have never met another group of people who love their job as much as the staff at PRIDE. Would definitely come back.
