Redding Trail Dog Park is a well-maintained and pleasant space for dogs to play. It features thick, green grass and tall fences that ensure safety, especially for athletic dogs that might try to jump over. The park is of a good size—neither too big nor too small—and provides waste bags and trash receptacles, making cleanup easy. However, there is no water available, so owners should bring their own water and bowls for their dogs. The park's hours are from 5am to 11pm, which is convenient for early risers and nighttime visitors. One downside is that the park is exposed to the sun, with little to no shade, especially on the small dog side, which could make hot summer days challenging for both dogs and owners. The fences are tall, adding to safety, but the parking area is somewhat awkward and poorly lit, especially at night, in an isolated location. Visitors should be cautious when parking, as it may be near private properties or result in parking issues if not careful. The park is currently closed for winterization, and visitors wish they had better information about closures to avoid unnecessary trips. Suggestions for improvement include adding shade and a splash pad for dogs to turn the park's shortcomings into strengths, making it more enjoyable year-round.
Nice dog park. The grass is very thick and full. It is a nice size...... not too big and not too small. They provide waste bags and have clean receptacles. Well maintained. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed it. There is no water so bring your own water and bowl.

Parking is in an awkward location. If you park at the Marriott where Maps directs you, it is likely it will cost you a trip to a tow yard. Grass is green, fences are new. Not much else too exciting. In all fairness it was a Thursday at 8:30A.M. would return again knowing how to actually get there now.

I would have given them a full 5 stars but every dog here has diarrhea
