I entered there to look at some spoons and to test out a chair. I was then greeted by one of the workers following me around on a phone, presumably calling security or police. He then stood outside the door and watching us even after we were almost a block away. The entire time he was on the phone talking with someone about us. The service was terrible. Do not go there.

Great selection of high quality furniture along with some other home furnishings ans accessories. The staff is helpful and not super pushy. I was able to browse on my own without constantly being hassled and when I was ready, they were quick to assist.

My favorite furniture store. Most furniture made here in USA with USA resources. Pricey. If you're looking for cheap, go elsewhere. Return policy is wonderful. If you don't like it, you can exchange, have repaired, or return. I returned an iron bed frame that I had for several months which showed signs of rust--received full refund. I have spent many thousands of dollars here and have mostly been pleased. My favorite items are their dining tables with multiple selections of tops and bases.

Cindy is awesome! Came in looking for a modular sectional and Cindy spent about an hour and a half going through everything from fabrics to custom layout. Very friendly, professional, and helpful through out the experience

I wish I knew about this place earlier. It’s a clash of modern and minimalist that stand out in every aspect. The staff was very kind and not overly attentive. I loved the ambiance and layout and will absolutely be designing my next properly entirely from here.

My family and I decided to stop by Room & Board to look for a coffee table for our new living room set. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Liz. She went above and beyond to assist us with finding the perfect coffee table for our new living room set. We were so impressed with her service that we are now looking to purchase our dining room set at this store. If you ever visit this store, I highly recommend that you ask for Liz. She has a great eye for interior designing.

Amy Fletcher made this experience amazing! She was so much fun and gave me some great insight. I am so excited to get my chairs! I have purchased from Room and Board before and know the quality. They also stand by their products - even if they are out of warranty.

I was looking to purchase a sofa today. I was not greeted when I walked in. I made it a point to look around the entire store, even walked passed a group of associates and no one greeted or attempted to ask if I needed assistance. I literally had to ask them “Do y’all work here” in order for them to finally acknowledge me. Truly saddens me because I actually saw a sofa I wanted to purchase. Maybe my skin tone was not welcome.

Had a great shopping experience. Thanks to Cindy for greeting us and then answering our questions after we got a chance to browse the very vast selection. We walked away selecting a couple of light fixtures but we will definitely be back for more.

This place is similar to Crate and Barrel but more expensive. The service and furniture was okay but I prefer C&B.

I was so happy to find that Room and Board was in Dallas. I live in Austin, but needed furniture before the Austin location opened up, so the Dallas location helped me out. I purchased a couch and could not be happier! Cindy Chuang is amazing and I highly recommend you reach out to her. She is very good with the design software and it really helped me ensure the couch would fit in my space. I also happen to think she has impeccable taste. My couch was one section of a modular set and it almost didn't work out and after months of waiting on my custom couch, R&B would have taken it back no questions asked even if it was custom which I thought was pretty spectacular! It didn't come to that though as the small problem I had was resolved. The delivery folks were great as well. Highly recommend.

Definitely recommend. I was looking for sofa. I was deciding between Haverty's, Bassett, RH, and Room&Board. We decided to go with Room&Board because it was in our price range with comfortable seats. Thom was our designer, and we ordered Ford swivels and a Metro sectional. After waiting for a while, our order arrived! It. It had some issues. However, the customer service has been exceptional! It was far beyond our expectation especially for Thom. He took a time and helped us to resolve issues. If you care about customer service for pricey furniture, this is the definite place to purchase.

Very snobby atmosphere. Just walked in as they were opening. Not one person asked if they could help me or if I’d been there before. All the reps stayed glued to their computers. I kept walking around looking for someone and no one was present enough to acknowledge I was looking for help. One person said hello and kept walking. Everything seemed overpriced based on the type of service. Assuming they think their furniture should sell itself. The quality isn’t high enough to warrant that type of atmosphere.

I'm so sorry that I purchased $30,000 worth of furniture from Room & Board and used their storage and delivery service. When I made my purchase a promotion was in place and I was promised that my furniture could be delivered as it came in and in as many as two deliveries if necessary, without charge. Construction on my new lake home ran late by several months. I communicated with room and board's delivery department about the delay and was told there would be no problem. All I needed to do was call them one month prior to my requested delivery date. Unfortunately delivery proved to be a nightmare. When I called to schedule delivery I was informed that deliveries would be made during a two week window and they would let me know 48 hours before my furniture would be delivered. The date that they gave me did not work as my drive way had yet to be completed. Unfortunately even though I spoke to delivery nine days before their scheduled date ,there was nothing that they could do to reschedule it to a date and time that worked for me. I spoke with my sales person and requested her help in changing the delivery date. Everyone was very sympathetic, but once they decided the date, nothing could change it. They were willing to change the delivery location. This only created more problems and expenses for me. My new purchases were delivered to my residence ( 1 1/2 hours away from my new lake house) partially assembled and placed in my garage. I then contracted with a private Dallas storage/moving company "Nice Moves" to pick the Room & Board furniture up, store it for a week, and then deliver/assemble it with other new purchases to my lake home. Room and Board sales and delivery are very separate entities although they refer to each other as partners. No one seemed to care that I was inconveniences or incurred additional expenses related to moving the furniture or assembling it. I received lip service at best. I won't be using them again and could never recommend them to anyone.
