My visit to the Rosewood Mansion left me DEEPLY dissatisfied and disheartened. Despite there being no official policy against taking photos, the staff, especially the manager Tim Treuting, aggressively enforced a no-photos rule. This was particularly distressing as the photos were meant for a prom event and would have taken no more than 30 minutes. The discriminatory attitude displayed by the staff, singling us out because we weren't guests, was appalling. Their condescending tone implied we were unworthy of capturing our memories, tarnishing what should have been a memorable experience. Such behavior has no place in hospitality, and it left a lasting negative impression on what could have been an enjoyable outing.

The restaurant is old school lovely. Our waiter Zeke was memorable, he reminds me what is missing at so many restaurants. The food is great, the patio is lovely, the service is impeccable!

Elegant and nice, the restaurant definitely met our expectations. Food was delicious, staff was very professional and kind. A bit pricey, but worth every single penny.

5 Stars all around. Pictures don't do this place justice. Wonderful service, some of the better room service I've had in all my travels, and great car service. This is the hotel to say at in Dallas.

Elegant dining that lives up Rosewood’s reputation. We did not stay at the hotel, but ate at the restaurant. The wait staff are excellent and contribute highly to the ambience of the establishment. The food was well prepared and tasty.

Exuding luxury and attention to detail, this beautiful hotel feels more like staying in a friend's beautiful home - but with all the features of a 5 star hotel, including a terrific 24 hr room service menu. Highly recommended!

If you have any pet allergy, DO NOT STAY HERE. My wife, daughter, and I stayed for the last two nights in room 718, booked through American Express Fine Hotel & Resorts. There was a terrible pet odor in our room upon arrival, and we asked to change rooms to a pet free room. We were told that was impossible because all rooms are pet friendly. We asked to change to a room that had not had pets in it for a longer period of time. We were told that was not possible because the hotel was fully committed. At the front desk, we were offered a "deep clean" including shampooing, which in our experience can't be done during a stay without making matters worse. We were twice promised phone calls from the MOD (I made the assumption that meant Manager on Duty). Not such call was ever made. My feeling is that it was an insult to the hotel's staff to complain about animal dander in any way shape or form. There is a pet bed at the hotel front entrance. I am a pet lover and have both dogs and cats at home; however they sleep outside. Otherwise the staff was A+ and greeting me by name at breakfast at 7am. I was unable to sleep in the room the night before due to the allergies. So go there for food and ambience, but if you cannot sleep in the hotel bed for which you paid, is that really the hotel for you? It feels like a complete scam and ripoff.

I just left from a four day stay, I met my daughter for a few days. The people, location and furnishings are great, a real treat. The food, at the pool, room service and dining room are shameful if you like good food. The place also doesn’t offer much service Sunday- Friday, so keep that in mind if you think this is a full service hotel. To be honest I have stayed at FOUR other rosewood properties and this was the worst. The pool and deck are run down, again worst cold frozen food, it’s odd for this being an original. Maybe due to covid they can’t clean or offer better service, no idea. It wasn’t just the room service food that was bad, we booked via Amex fine hotels so our breakfast each day and every day it was cold!!! And if you asked for eggs over easy they came out rock hard….and cold. So if you stay eat out for all meals, don’t expect solid bar cocktails, weak, the place is nothing like the rosewood Carlyle in NYC, that’s a real rosewood. This is a imposter and sort of cheap to boot. Think cruse ship food and just odd. My daughter and I both had a message and it was wonderful, so thanks for that. I prefer rosewood or banyan to four seasons these days but not in Dallas. Not sure if Dallas has a four seasons but I would try something similar than staying here again. But I love all other rosewoods so take it for what it’s worth

I have stayed in hotels the world over, and with my most recent visit to The Mansion in August, I'm reminded again why this may well be my favorite hotel anywhere. The original Rosewood property, The Mansion is an icon in Texas, long revered for its hospitality and cuisine. Over forty years since its opening, this rings true today as ever on the sprawling Spanish colonial estate - whose beauty is apparent from the moment you drive up and hand off the keys to the valet. The hotel exudes an ambiance of "Old Texas," with service to match. No request is too big for the Mansion team, who look after each guest from check-in to check-out, taking care to remember him or her by name. In the duration of my recent four-night stay, I struggle to come up with a single problem or issue. Nothing overlooked! The rooms, which were TASTEFULLY renovated within the last few years, are plush and spacious. Many have balconies, which I especially enjoy. The bathrooms are luxurious, with Italian marble showers and large soaking tubs. The air conditioning works very well in the hot Texas summer. And the beds are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The minibar is well-stocked, and housekeeping ensures there is always extra water on hand. Turndown service is a real delight, and is really a second full housekeeping treatment. The many books are a thoughtful addition. While at the property, I spent plenty of time at the Mansion bar, which has some of the best ambiance of any bar I've visited and attracts a very chic Dallas crowd. My friends in the area are always eager to join for a drink there. It's dimly lit and decorated in an inviting, Texas-Western style. The staff couldn't be friendlier, and I got to know most of them over the course of my stay. The live music on weekends is exceptional - just be sure to reserve a table well in advance if you want one!Just off the bar is the Mansion dining room, which as anyone in Dallas knows has a long and storied history. The restaurant is warm and sophisticated; I enjoyed the seven-course tasting menu paired with an exceptional bottle of vintage Bordeaux. Again, the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The sommelier assisted in making the perfect selection. I lingered long into the evening here.Lastly, I must commend the all-star concierge staff helmed by Mary Stamm and her assistant, Evan Baker. Both members of Les Clefs d'Or, they know Dallas inside and out, and have several times helped secure a difficult reservation for me. Mary has been at the Mansion since the 1980s, and bends over backwards to accommodate any request, always with a smile. She is a real treasure and I hope to continue seeing her for years to come!I am already looking froward to my next visit in November.

Perfection! I spent three days here for a business trip and I can’t tell you how thrilled I was to come back to this beautiful property. The food was so good from in room dinning to the enchanting bar. Each member of the staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. I can’t wait to come back and I will tell everyone who will listen about this fabulous place

Fantastic hotel! The room was wonderful and very quiet. Remarkably quiet in fact. Breakfast was delicious and they make a great cappuccino!
