The ryder in Pharr, TX, has always treated me with the best service - Emilio & Yolanda Gutierrez. The issue began with the truck not going into region, i went to a location in Austin, Tx to solve the issue. However, i waited 3-4 hours for the issue to be resolved, i proceeded my trip to Dallas, tx, and was faced with the same issue once again, roadside assistance was called, and i was told to continue driving at 55 mph with the issue at hand. I was then told by the gentleman at the location that i should not have been given those instructions as it would have caused danger to my life and others. Unfortunately, my issue was not resolved the first time and i was presented issues throughout my trip.Casey at the fort Worth location was of good help, he placed me with another working vehicle.

Ryder has shown and consistently demonstrated the lack of professionalism repeatedly throughout the entire process. We purchased a truck from Ryder off Irving Blvd. Salesman showed us the photos inside and out. Tractor had nothing missing great sales price, very good mileage; and Ryder approved. (Note: Never buy a truck from Ryder out of town and go get it yourself they want you to do this because if anything happens on the way back its on you. Well guess what the truck broke down on them during transfer to Dallas. After weeks of waiting on the unit the truck arrives at the Cockrell Hill location with half the dash missing, no safety equipment, mud flaps gone, DOT tape missing, and they give me the keys and said its Ryder certified. No worries I have the photos to prove it. So, Ryder doesn't like a blemish on their thieving employees, so they had us put it back in the shop to get the repairs Ryder certified didn't do. The truck never left Ryder why would you certify a vehicle that is not in DOT compliance? Now Mike McMan gets involved and gets some action out this meritless shop of employees. They did get the truck fixed once they realized I had photos. We decide ok that was a bad situation, but they did finally after a month got it fixed. We decided to give Ryder a second chance and purchased a tractor in town so we could actually see what we were purchasing and test drive. We received the truck a week later after it comes from the shop. Within three days its back in the shop with multiple check engine lights. We are informed to contact 1800 Ryder and report all the issues. The ladies at 1800 Ryder were truly genuine. Well, that was until they realized the Cockrell Hill location is a joke. The location was supposed to get a quote on the repairs and email over. Guess what everyone another lies amongst many more to come. Ryder later that week released the truck to us stating it was fixed and ready to go after we had just sent a list of items that need to be addressed. We test drove the truck for a test run and it broke down before we made it outside the facility to the light. We returned the truck immediately. Contacted 1 800 Ryder and informed the ladies, they did not understand how I had the truck back and they had no email. They ladies called the shop while I sit there, and I watched as the supervisors just sit and talk while the phone rings. Also have a list of names involving them and videos. Several days later I'm back at the shop still trying to get an update and I'm told the DPF computer is inop and they are not going to fix it. I ask the supervisor Larry can I get my belonging out the truck cause at this time they have had the tractor over three weeks. There is a mechanic with his laptop in the tractor when I walk up. He informs me it is the one box that's defective. I asked the mechanic when you found out this he states when he came back work. Ok great but they just gave me back this truck the other day saying it was fixed. Mechanic told me they didn't fix anything they just cleared the codes because he is the only ones who knows how to work this software at this location. Glad I had my mic on, so I caught it all on camera. At this point Ryder is such a disgrace why bother. Ask can I grab my things out the tractor and low and behold the locks are missing the tools are gone and my registration book. What can you possibly do with my registration book. Again, I make a report to Irving Blvd location about the missing items. If I would have kept the tractor and said ill deal with it later everyone id be stuck with a lemon, they never had intentions to fix it just so happen I fell under the 14-day grace period due to it was in the shop most of the time and beyond. We have been waiting on our reimbursement for several weeks now. Thats a whole other story that I pray you all do not get caught up in. Ryder is a company not trustworthy of the brand they represent; meritless in their actions; disloyal to their job duties and a disgrace to the trucking industry standard of safety.

I have had the most amazing experience with this location. I have worked with other locations and by far this has been my favorite. Keara has been so responsive, helpful, and understanding of all of our needs, as well as the manager Jonathan. Alfredo has also been super helpful with our truck needs and I truly believe he is a asset to this location. I will be recommending this location!

Hey I can’t stop petting this mechanic over at Redbird on the back this guy they call Mike or Michael he is very good he got me in and out there Friday and I had to I had a deadline very knowledgeable. I had a check engine light man he knows exactly what to do and some other issues that just come up he got me fixed in an hour there. I just went by there this morning and he’s not there I have to wait till he comes back because that’s how good he is.

Avoid Michael ( Mike) working on your truck- he’s got a bad attitude, sloppy and doesn’t either know what he’s doing or care about doing things right. He spilled antifreeze all over everywhere which in turn has caused the “ check engine light” to come on.There are some good mechanics there but this one should be avoided.

Came in to get my airlines check and serviced and was in & out almost immediately! Big shout out to Michael (mike) for his help in servicing my truck, he wasted no time and was very proficient in his task. I highly recommend him for any work needed to your vehicle!

Nothing but the best here. Had a slight "hiccup" with a low hanging branch and my company box truck we lease through Ryder. They were quick, friendly and professional to get repairs started and begin arranging a replacement truck during the interim.Christine was GREAT!!! ????.She even arranged an Uber to get me back home!!! Thanks again!!!
