First and last time ever going to Sephora we first walk in and get the most dirty look from the African American woman with a horrible wig in the front, She continued to pass these looks till we got so uncomfortable we left the store. If I’m spending 40 dollars on a stick of makeup, your workers should at least be nice to the customers.

I ordered for SAME DAY delivery from sephora northpark. But after 3 days, they didnt deliver my item yet. And no one informed me about the order. So I reached the customer service and they said that the uber was cancelled and can’t replace the order for same day delivery. They told me to reorder again but the item was sold out.

I visited this store on Friday, 9/20, and returned on Sunday, 9/22, to return an item. My sister and I were greeted as we walked in, and I approached a lovely young lady named Diamond for assistance. I was interested in trying additional products and possibly purchasing them if they were in stock or if the color match met my expectations. Diamond was incredibly patient and went above and beyond to check for stock availability, even offering alternative suggestions when certain items weren’t available. Her customer service was exceptional, and I truly hope she is promoted to a team lead soon or finds an even better opportunity in the near future. Her attentiveness and dedication to providing excellent service are exactly what companies like this should be rewarding with advancement opportunities.
Unfortunately, my experience with two other staff members wasn’t as positive. After Diamond helped us, my sister and I decided to browse the store further. These two individuals, who may not subscribe to traditional societal gender norms, repeatedly asked us if we needed help, even though it was clear we were just browsing. One of them, who had a heavier build, made it a point to stand close to us at every turn, and I felt like we were being watched the entire time. At one point, the heavier-set individual remarked “just hopping around,” which was both unnecessary and frustrating, as we were simply shopping.
As a long-time Rouge member since before TikTok and Instagram were promoting their membership, sales and products, this behavior was disappointing. As a Black woman, I’ve unfortunately grown accustomed to this kind of treatment. But I will ensure that my voice is heard in hopes that Sephora takes action and makes changes, if they care to.
Why do I continue to spend money at Sephora? Well, one day when retailers who look like me create competition in the global beauty retail space, my dollars will certainly follow.

I recently visited this Sephora location and, unfortunately, my experience mirrored the negative feedback I've seen in recent reviews. I attempted to return an unused and unopened item that I accidentally ordered in multiples. Although I was just two days past the order date, I was still within 30 days of the delivery date.
The cashier was friendly but seemed inexperienced, so she sought assistance. The second employee informed me that returns within the 30-60 day window could only be processed as store credit. I politely requested an exception since I was still within the 30-day window from the delivery date.
This is where the experience took a turn for the worse. The third person, who I assume was a manager, was rude and condescending. She stated that she would make "an exception" by giving me store credit, which was not an exception at all since that is the standard policy. Her tone and demeanor felt insulting, as if she were doing me a favor rather than following the store's policy.
This encounter highlighted a significant lack of customer service and management experience. As a Rouge member who has recently moved to Dallas, I expected better. If this is the standard of service in the area, I will reconsider my loyalty to Sephora. It seems they may feel they have enough customers to overlook the importance of treating each one with respect.
I urge potential customers to read the recent reviews and consider shopping elsewhere or opting for online purchases. It's simply not worth the hassle to deal with a store that lacks proper management and customer appreciation.

I bought a Sephora card for an amount of $120 dollars, it turns out that the card had 6 numbers and I couldn't buy online, then I contacted customer service and they told me to go to a Sephora one and take what I was going to buy, the card was redeemed and it turns out that it was in 00, what a joke. Bad taste, it was a disappointment, so I don't recommend it.

Cashier girl was so rude. Did not know how to behave and no “thank you” at all . If she can’t be nice then she better stops working in customer service job.

Went in today and floor associates were awesome! However when I went to check out the lady at the re was extremely rude. I walked up and her back was to me, she looks back and says put your number in… proceeds to ring my things up offers my bday choices items, hands the receipt and walks back to the back counter. No thank you or have a good day or anything. It was very upsetting and disheartening to say the least! I didn’t get her name and was too upset to speak to a manager about it! I hope she sees this and works on her customer service moving forward!

I like sephora, but I had a bad experience today. If you need assistance with a product or need help with shade match, trust me this is not the store for you. Moreover, I tried a tester foundation and I had a reaction on my hand.
