This specific location operates as if it’s a luxury designer boutique instead of a global retail chain. They consistently close early, and on multiple occasions I’ve arrived well before their posted closing time (7–7:30pm) only to be locked out while employees stand inside staring at customers through the glass, doors barricaded, around 6:15pm.
When I finally managed to catch them “open” on my third attempt this week, customers were not even allowed inside. Instead, there was a table outside with a crowd of people awkwardly shouting their orders while employees ran back and forth to grab items. No explanation was given. Several of us asked what was going on, and the staff either didn’t know or didn’t care to explain.
What makes this worse is that there was clearly no emergency or operational issue: the lights were on, the music was playing, the store was fully staffed, and everything appeared to be functioning normally. The refusal to let customers inside without any communication felt lazy, dismissive, and poorly managed.
Getting a basic product like concealer should not require multiple trips and guesswork around whether the store feels like being open that day.

Just like with other Sephora's inside of Kohl's, this one doesn't have some of the products. The stand alone Sephora's are a better store to shop at. But it's unstandable if there isn't a Sephora near you.

Want to give a special shout out to Charisma for all her help when i came in today. i have never had a better experience at sephora in all the years ive been coming. she immediately greeted me and helped me find exactly what i wanted and needed. she color matched me and even recommended other products that would pair well with what i got. she is very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining why and how things work. her customer service is phenomenal and she really made me feel special! you can tell that she actually cares and is passionate about what she does. hands down one of the best people i’ve ever encountered! i literally can’t say enough good things about her, she definitely needs some special acknowledgment for how helpful and friendly she is!!! if you ever need help with anything make sure you look for her!!! thanks so much Charisma!!!

If the staff is trained to immediately discriminate and follow someone they think is stealing they should be more discreet about it. Also communicating instead of just turning around and expecting customers to linger around would be really helpful.

Huda was kind, thorough, and walked me through primer, moisturizer, foundation/skin tint, and setting powder—explaining exactly why each step would work for my skin. As someone who rarely wears makeup, I walked in without a clue of what I was going to buy for my sisters wedding. Brittney was amazing, I felt no judgement from her and her make up knowledge was impressive. I learned so much in such a short time from her!

I was surprised, but I found another gem. The parking isn’t bad and the team that work at THIS location are actually nice. I have a Sephora right by my house that I dread going to because they have horrible attitudes but THIS LOCATION I will definitely be back.

Walked in 7 minutes before closing and although it was a quick trip, it was a standout experience. I interacted with at least 5-6 employees and every single one of them not only had an awesome attitude, but were super knowledgeable and helpful. I didn’t feel like an annoying customer at all. I’m sitting in my car writing this review because I haven’t had a positive retail experience like that in a long time and the staff members tonight deserve a shout out!
