1) Took more than 1 week to receive an estimate. On 10/10, I brought my car in for a quote on side door molding repair and a small paint scratch- both the result of a door dinge from another car. I did not receive an estimate until 10/19. 2) When I picked up my car (after my car was at their shop for about 3 weeks), all the settings in my car were adjusted/ played with. Why the F did the body shop touch settings/features in my car that have NO relationship to the work performed? Features such as the lane assist warnings to the visual presentation on the car's touch screen were unnecessarily adjusted/changed!For what they charge and my wait time to pickup my car, I would expect A+ treatment. What I received, was closer to B-/C+. Caveat emptor!Note: my work was very minor. My wait time was due to their shop having lots of work and being understaffed (in paint)- per conversation with my service advisor at the shop.

The Manager Sam, followed up on my issues and they had my issue resolved by getting it fixed at the dealership close to me without wasting any time .Impressed and appreciate the follow up , changing my review----------------------While they did a good Job with the body work, But they kept my car for more than 2 months because of parts availability and such, also through which I was very patient, when i finally received my car the start button of the doesn't work and engine makes a huge noise which was not there when gave my car, and they simply refused any responsibility of the repairs. There aren't the most honest people. Enterprise Rent a car is located on their premises and they work together in a predatory manner to keep your car as long as possible and rack up rental car fees. They kept my mother's vehicle over 2 weeks longer than her insurance paid and she ends up with over $1,000 in rental car charges as her Cadillac just sat there not being worked on. There was tape and adhesive on the passenger door which wasn't even worked on. So much so before we left they had to take it back in the shop to remove it with chemicals. Overall bad experience, I do not recommend them.

I brought my car in for minor damage repairs and it’s taken 5 weeks and my car is still in the shop. I thought I’d love the Sewell collision center as I purchased my car at a Sewell dealership, however I’ve been very disappointed. I would not bring my car back again.Services: Painting

Unfortunately I’ve had a bad experience here. My car has been at Sewell for 4 months and I still don’t have it back. 2 weeks turns into 3 weeks…3 weeks turns into 4, etc. incredibly frustrating experience.

Heavily disappointed. I've taken my vehicle to get serviced at the Audi Dealership in McKinney back in May. A few days later, I received a phone call from the service manager stating that my SUV suffered some hail damage but not enough to total my vehicle. I contacted my insurance company and they provided me an estimate which was quite reasonable. We only suffered hail damage on the hood and 2 areas on the windshield. So basically it's only a minor cosmetic issue. The service manager at Audi recommended that I take my SUV to get repaired at Sewell Collision in Dallas. The earliest they can service my vehicle would be over a month later (July). Taylor (estimator) told me that they will contact my insurance company after submitting a supplement in case there are other damages that the adjuster may have missed the first time. I've waited 5 days for a status so I decided to send an email asking for one. Taylor told me that they submitted the supplement and it will take 1 to 2 weeks to seek approval. Well, a week later I received a phone call from State Farm stating that they will TOTAL my vehicle which came to a shock to me because the damages weren't that extensive. It was way more than the original estimator from State Farm has given me. No structural damage and it runs fine. Only the hood and windshield suffered the most damage. I refused to let the collision center move forward with the work and decided to take my business elsewhere after hearing the exaggerated task on how to remove dents and replace a windshield. It shouldn't have TOTALED my vehicle. That's not all. I was told that I had to pay for tear down which didn't make any sense to me. The left and right fenders were removed above my tires and that furthered my disgust. They were trying to pull fast one on me. I would not recommend this place if you are in need of repairs.

Recently, I had some work done on my car due to an accident. I decided to allow Sewell to take care of the damage,seeing as I purchased the car from their establishment. My car came back to me entact and the body work was worth the wait. A few caveats, though. The front passenger side door will not open from the inside, which they advised they would look into. My battery was not charged and is currently holding on for life. Last but not least, they advised me that they would wash my vehicle inside and out. However, the interior was still quite dirty. All in all, the work did not suck, so I'll give them a strong 4 stars and an opportunity to bring the 4 star rating up to 5.

As expected, exceptional customer service & repair provided by Justin Rayne and team! They provided estimates, timeframe for repairs, and kept me apprised of all steps while servicing my vehicle. My car looks fabulous, the team went over and beyond my expectations, Sewell Collision did not disappoint - highly recommend!

Four BIG Reasons to Caution Using Sewell Collision Center of DallasSewell prides itself on their “exceptional” experience. That said, you might have different definitions of the word, “exceptional.” Here are four reasons why they did not meet the “Sewell Difference."Poor CommunicationThis was a big issue for me. My estimator never provided a clear time estimate or when the job would be complete. This was extremely frustrating for a couple of reasons. First, I paid for my rental car out-of-pocket. I communicated this to the estimator from the beginning. I asked for a general idea of how long the job would take, which continued to be on week-by-week bases. This ultimately accrued to 71 days in the shop.Inefficient Use of TimeI scheduled my appointment 2.5 months before drop off. When I dropped off my vehicle, my estimator informed me that it might be 5 days before they even take look at my vehicle. They extended the work after underestimating the damages. This created a ton more wait time.Lack of UrgencyThe estimator I worked with was kind and somewhat understanding. That said, they lack the urgency to provide updates, clear timelines, and regard for the out-of-pocket expenses this was creating. I called almost a dozen times to check-in. Every time, no answers.Empty PromisesOnce I got my car back, it was petty dusty in the interior. The only part of the vehicle that appeared “detailed” was the new bummer they installed. The website states, “The vehicle will be cleaned thoroughly before pickup.” My car was not “cleaned thoroughly.” Even my car settings were all wonky. My windows did not roll down correctly, and many of the media and dashboard settings seemed off. It appeared they reset the factory settings and didn’t bother to check if everything worked properly.If you can’t tell, I am disappointed. This job took WAY too long, to say the least. Sewell Collision failed to deliver an exceptional experience. As they did return my vehicle to its original, pre-accident condition (as all body shops should) – they lacked clear communications, management, and urgency. This created a lot of stress and a TON of rental fees.Overall, Sewell is no different from the rest.

First thing they put my car in the system as a different model , couldn't find my car the only way we found it was because of the Insurance Company we had it filed under. They kept my car for a month and 7 days. Also Aaron F. Customer service Rep. gets zero stars and the guy tall slender black guy that took my payment he didn't even say thank you or anything. Terrible customer service, I most definitely don't recommend this part of Sewell.
