I was here for a work conference for 4-nights. The hotel is clean and staff was friendly, but it is a bit dated. I had a great view of downtown Dallas from my 14th floor room. The hotel also serves as a convention center - there were several conferences going on at the same time as mine and it could be a bit crowded. The conference food was very average, but there are a couple of restaurants onsite. Its also a nice location overall.

Poor experience and no value for Bonvoy Gold. Very poor room, offered virtual points for the inconvenience (they never arrived).I wouldn’t stay there again.Walkability: Close to plenty of alternative hotels

Checked in online Wednesday for our arrival on Thursday and requested a digital key as I knew it was going to be a madhouse with the cheer competition. Never received a digital room key so when we arrived at 9 pm, I was forced to wait in line for about 1.5 hours because their app was down. After waiting, I was told that they had run out of double queen rooms and that they could put me in a king room and provide a rollaway bed. I had my husband, myself, and my children with me. I was told there was nothing they could do, and that they didn’t have any additional rooms to upgrade or purchase another room, and that we couldn’t move rooms during our stay. We were told that the rollaway bed would be delivered within 30 minutes. We called down numerous times, and I finally went down after midnight because I have a 2 year old and we needed to be awake at 4 am. The rollaway bed arrived after 1230, the gentleman who delivered the bed was rude. We had no pillows and a dirty blanket given to us.Our king bedroom was so TINY that the rollaway bed made it incredibly difficult to walk about the room. The bathroom door didn’t stay shut, and the bathtub didn’t drain.Front desk staff was nice. Not super helpful, but nice. We were told we would receive some perks for the inconvenience and all those promises were not upheld at all. I called to speak to a manager and was told they were all out of the office. I find it hard to believe you don’t have a manager on site at all, especially during an extremely busy weekend for such a large cheer competition.

Here now, check in service is a disaster. Waited in Platinum Elite line for over an hour. They were averaging about 1 customer every 15 minutes. The people we walked into registration with went thru the normal check in line in half the time we did in elite line. Had to ask if they had ever considered servicing some of the elite customers thru the normal check in, apparently they couldn’t figure that out by themselves. Terrible customer service. Recommendation would be go stay somewhere else downtown.Noteworthy details: Check in service is miserably slow. Poor customer service.

Despite the crowd and some wait time Amaya in the reservation desk accommodated me in a timely manner and offered amazing welcoming customer service. My room was perfect and found a lot of comfortable space to unwind. Thank you, you are very much appreciated and looking forward to my next visit soon!

Poor location for walking and not a good area. Found the hotel (not restaurant) staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful. Wouldn't recommend for group business events.

I have been here for 4 weeks for training. My stay was exemplary. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Special shout out to my favorite valet Johnnie. He was always there to greet me with a warm smile everyday! He would rush to the door to hold it open upon my return daily. He is the front line of exemplary customer service. He represents the hotel in a very special way. Thank you Johnnie for making my stay there a happy experience!The restaurant and bar were excellent with quality staff. My only recommendation would be to have a few more options to choose in dining. The food was excellent especially the wings. I recommend the Sheraton Dallas to visitors!

The only thing I could say that was good about this hotel was the service at the restaurant. Kudos to Elizabeth who was my server 2 nights in a row. She was awesome and recommended some great meals. Other than that, parking down right sucks. Had to park underground and had to get my key replaced because it did not work at the parking gates. Construction around the hotel made getting in and out of the underground parking a pain to deal with. There was a parking lot across the street, but I was told by the valet parking that it was closed because the hotel closed it because they anticipated a big group the next day and they estimated alot of car parking spaces were needed. I was highly disappointed in that the hotel closed off a parking lot that was conveniently located across the street. The room was alright, however one of the lamp posts kept flickering so couldn't use it. The location is down right horrible as it's right in the middle of downtown. Definitely will not stay here again.
