Unfortunately, more often than not, SW are not very helpful, seem uninterested in customers, and have limited products and options. They seem to be a good 20% more expensive than the competition as well.
Used to be you went to a SW because they were the experts - they were the best at providing the right product and approach. Not any more. Save your time & money and go to a Lowes instead

Daniel displayed excellent customer service skills in assisting me with a paint conundrum. He was patient and resourceful. My apartment manager was very pleased at his solution!

a simple 10 min visit turned into a 50 minute excursion as 3 employees sat in the office cutting up while the line reached the door and they did nothing to help. I will never go to that location again!!!

We were able to get an exact match to stain our birch wood shelves. We took a sample of the type of wood and our cabinets that we wanted to match - they were able to make the stain in about 15 minutes. They did a great job matching - very helpful and friendly staff.

I had a great experience and the staff (Daniel Ramos) was exceptional in providing guidance and support thru a recent project. While I insisted on a particular paint, he discouraged me, yet I went forward with what I believed to be appropriate. I realized thru the application that it was not the solution I was looking for. So I returned and he swapped out for what he originally recommended. This saved me money while simultaneously providing the right solution.Each time I was there, it took only minutes once I decided on what was needed and waiting was no longer than 5 minutes. I found him to be very knowledgeable (he works with mostly professional contractors) and is honest and extremely efficient. As you may know Sherwin-Williams provides quality products and more expertise than most "big box" stores. I will definitely go back.

Today was the end of the 30% off sale Sherwin Williams. I spend $800 at another Sherwin Williams just last week. I still needed more, but my vehicle can only carry so much. I went today at 3:00, not realizing they closed at 4:00 pm. I needed 15 gal. Of quick dry primer & 4 gal. of paint for my cabinets. They tel me they only have 5 gal. Of the primer and call the location at Forest and Preston to learn that they "have" plenty. They also advise they do not have the base to make the cabinet paint, but I can go to the other store and get everything. I ask "Can I buy it now and when you get it in, you can call me?" No, they advise, they can only sell what they have in stock." Now, a multitude of options at this point. They raised they closed very soon, I did not. Nor did they tell me. They told me where the other store was located and I drove straight there. Guess what? The store they sent me to, much further away was closed. Overall, they cost me $$$ today. At the very, very least, I could have bought the 5 gallon of primer. They could have said, hey, our stores close at 4, so it will be closed, don't go, they could have said, call that other store, place your order and pay for it and arrange to pick it up tomorrow because the sale is over. I will never ever go to this location again. The pathetic part in all of this is that they weren't busy at all, virtually no on there.

There's a GREAT reason why this place has the poor reputation it does. This place staffs the WORST employees who are completely inept. Paint is NEVER ready when you order it online. They're always HIGHLY confused when you come in for your order. Staff is NOT friendly at all. If you have the misfortune of getting "Jessica," immediately ask for someone else. She's just going to stay in a state of confusion and unhelpfulness. You have to literally double check everything they do and give you. As I write this, I also just realized the store gave me the wrong rollers that I tried to check out with yesterday, but they kept for some stupid reason and waited to give me until my paint was ready. When I came back, the dude said he put EVERYTHING back that I picked out the day before because the CEO was coming. Who cares??? Tell the CEO you and your staff are completely inept and not qualified for your job and you need to hold onto this stuff because a customer just picked it out and purchased it! WTF?!??? Although this place is right by my house, I make it a point to drive to another location that is four times as far in order to get staff that actually knows what they're doing.I don't know how a place can manage to screw up orders so badly, but this place and their employees excel at it.

Always a good experience at this location. Very helpful in locating my paint even if they don't have the stock. Even helped me find a coupon and saved me some money.

Very helpful staff. I was trying to find a spot treatment paint and ended up getting two samples along with a few gallons of interior wall paint for other rooms in house. Employee was masked and very helpful.
