Was not paid for the time spent onboarding (3 hours) despite that being a clear violation of state and federal labor regulations and laws. I would have filed a complaint but $14.50 for 3hrs of onboarding wasn't worth the effort in corresponding with government agencies over it...and that's how they get away with it with each training class. This company is very casual in the way it does business...even the business casual attire is not business casual at all. It would be "casual" in most professional environments. They drive the point home of "moving up" and how easy it is to "promote"...don't be fooled...they just need people to stay so they can remain staffed for their Verizon Fios contract. While in training, a fight broke out between two women arguing over how one took the seat of the other. So that tells you the quality of applicants they have to work with since they aren't willing to increase the hourly wage to attract more quality candidates. If you're going to work here, try and find somewhere else to work before the training ends. The trainers are great but the trainees make it hard to absorb the information due to distraction, drama, and unprofessionalism.

Worked there for 3 days before they fired me. I let them know I was pregnant and have to go to the doctor once a month. They said they wouldn’t excuse my absence regardless of paperwork. Was also threatened by another trainee. I told HR and they fired me. Absolutely disgusted with this place.

The most rachett, unorganized, unprofessional company i have ever worked for. Management is terrible, communication is poor. They laid off half of the company a week before christmas with no notice. All the employees are messy and start constant drama. This whole company is a scandal. I finally left after 2 yrs and my mental health increased tremendously.

Horrible horrible horrible UNORGANIZED STAFF. They say they care about their employees, all they care about is the money. Signing up veterans who are suffering from many medical conditions just to find out that law firms are taking a 100% of their earnings. I feel like I’m going to pay for being an employee here ! This goes against my morals. You get penalized for not being trained properly.Micromanaged 24/7 and the manager John rice RUDE!!!!Cant stand him.

I survived 4 years at this place and have to say they pulled all the stops to fire as many people as they could. At one point they re-ran background checks for everyone and even did weekly test and if you fail you are out.Honestly, I was so done with the drama I quit as soon as I found a new job. On the up side it did give me a foot in the door for other IT related work.

The two stars I am rating this place of employment is for my prior supervisor Herbert.Herbert was very understanding and i really look forward working with him and my team everyday. However, overall as a company I'm sure if I can give them more stars. Back in December 2020 they promised a group of about 140+ employees they would get a raise and will get alot of money in sales. Well, it never happened in 2022 a new supervisor from my supervisor came in and mentioned that unfortunately we were all misinformed. How could a company miss this?! I'm so confused.I think the company saw alot of people leaving at that point. I do believe they underpayment and commission half of the time you don't see that money. My honest opinion I think they could do better especially with good employees. When these things happened they have to keep hiring and hiring. I really wish them success but this was my experience and probably many others from the group of 140+.I think they can offer more opportunity to current employees but that's a long shot.If the owner from this company ever sees this review. Check with all of your employees, they matter too.

The worst company ever. I applied over 2 months ago and they reached out to me every step of the way. They offered me a position and I reminded them of a day off I submitted with my application. They then said they couldn’t give me the job due to the “last minute” request. How is it last minute when it was in my application that was submitted 2 months ago? They reached out to me again after this time off passed and stated they were still interested in onboarding me. 3 people Kirstie, Katrina and Christian all contacted me about the new position but then ghosted me. I called and left voicemails and followed up with emails for over 3 weeks and they never responded about the on boarding. I’m disgusted that this is what people do to others during a time where everyone is literally struggling.

I have never applied to such an unprofessional and disorganized company. The recruiter Cristobal Lay has been the most unorganized and uncaring recruiter I have ever dealt with. My start date had been moved 3 time because he can’t find the paperwork I filled out. As if a job is not what we use to pay bills. This already gives me a bad feeling about the company and how they would treat their employees. I wouldn’t want to work for a company that cares so little about people and their time.

I guess when working at a call center you dont need professionalism, when I worked here a couple of years ago this place was pretty bad. Most of the managment couldn't answer questions from associates. It seemed like they would hire anybody so you have to pick up some of their workload.

I spent 3 hours in this place today just to be turned away because I didn’t seem “ AGGRESSIVE “ enough ??? First my interview with Katrina was supposed to be at 10:30. No one spoke to me until 11:30. Wow ok. At this point I’m already thinking in my head nah I’m good but I’m trying to be a good sport. Then Katrina proceeds to ask me about a typing test ok so I completed the test 5 times then I proceeded back to the lobby just to wait another 45 minutes as I see Katrina run around the building. I should have walked out then but nope still trying to be a good sport. Then Katrina finally comes back she asks about the typing test then we go on a tour of the center. (???Word of advice no one wants to go on tour before they are hired ??♀️??♀️??♀️) We proceeded to pass lockers and metal detectors. She then took me through this maze for my interview which I had to wait again like 25 minutes then the hiring manager interviewed me which went well or so I thought. Then I walk back through the maze and wait some more again this time about 30 minutes. Then Katrina finally calls me back and apparently the hiring manager suggested I’m not “ AGGRESSIVE “ enough for the position. Wait what ??? Then she continues to explain to me there is another position they believe I would be perfect for but it’s a lower pay grade. A whole $5 lower. Seriously I should of went with my gut and walked out after the first hour of waiting. Televista wasted almost 4 1/2 hours of my life just for Katrina to send me a email 20 minutes after I left stating unfortunately the company has decided to moved forward to the next candidate. Honestly after reading these reviews I feel I have dodged a major bullet. What I noticed while I was there was not your typical call center on the up and up. Unorganized and front office staff steadily leaving to go the sales floor smh. I’m good Thank you but no Thank you. My time is VALUABLE don’t waste my drive time plus 3 hours of a potential employees time just to reject them 20 minutes after they leave. I wouldn’t of minded if it felt legit but this was unprofessionalism at it’s finest.

PART 2/2 response to ANDY WALTERSAll the way to completely revising the commission structure to truly disservice the ones who are on the phones making it possible. Rather than payout per individual performance (as it originally was), it dissolved into a cutthroat system to where only the top 5 or 10 agents were truly making anything close to what they were used to (depending on your contract).Opportunities to move up in position were little to a joke, most times giving coworkers I knew additional workloads (sometimes double responsibility) for the same pay and an empty promise, stringing them along for that of a promotion/raise. Truly just pitiful behavior at times. I won’t even lie, it got to a point to where between my personal life and the stress of this environment, come time I marked a year tenure, I stopped caring altogether.Luckily enough, I had probably the best manager in the building. I can voice a back for a few others, but she was THE one who held it down for everyone on the floor, including other managers. Without her, sad to say you’re running on sleet my friend.I started the position when I was 20 years old and ended my tenure a year later at 21. If you’re older than 25 considering this company, truly, bless your heart and God blessLike an old coat there used to tell me, “use this place to add add as many new experiences to your resume as you can, then get then **** outta here”.

First off, my interview process took 3 hours. Secondly .. Katrina, my interviewer, told me the position I was applying for (collections agent) would be mostly updating credit cards and taking payments with a little up selling. The entire training was SALES. I felt completely lied to. The trainers Laura & Myles were belittling and hypocritical when it came to attendance. Telvista treats you like a child by having you lock up your phones and asking for bathroom breaks. I will never recommend anyone to work here. RUN!!!
