Bait and switch shop. Posts one price then they hit you at the last minute before you sign with a $995 “paint and tire” package that you HAVE to purchase or they won’t sell you the vehicle. These guys are just typical scumbag used car salesmen. Don’t ever want to buy here again.

Terrible service they pointed out the car and walked away. I filled out app got approved because I was getting the car no matter what. They never called me once to discuss the application. I’m prequalified with my bank. Then during the whole process they tell me they sold the car. Couldn’t even call to let me know I was the one calling them. I’d never recommend this place no communication they didn’t even care to close the deal

By far the best car-buying experience I have ever had! I picked the car I wanted online, and Adam had everything ready for me when I got to the dealership. I was there for less than an hour, and I got a great deal on the car I bought!

TLDR: THIS PLACE IS FRAUDULENT. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR TIME, LET ALONE BUSINESS!Our 18 year old son recently bought his own car and we decided to sell the car he had been driving. It is a 2011 Honda Accord with 300k+ miles on it, but it is in immaculate condition with several premium features. We received a cash offer online from Texas Cars Direct with a range of $3344-$5225. They followed up a couple of times via email, so we scheduled a time to go in and meet with Lorenzo. When we got there, he looked at the vehicle and even raved about what good condition it was in. The check engine light had recently come on, and we hadn't had it checked yet. He said they would check it before giving us an offer. When he came back, he said that the engine light was for an "evap leak." He said that to find the leak, they would have to remove the entire engine. He also said that it was likely in the "Cadillac convertible." No, that is not a typo. He said "Cadillac convertible" multiple times. I assume he meant catalytic converter but is so clueless about vehicles that he didn't know the difference. He told us that due to that and the miles on the car, he could only offer $1500. Mind you, the miles were disclosed to them online before they sent their offer via email for more than double. I also looked up the "evap leak" issue online and found that it is most likely due to a loose or damaged gas cap. I told him that, and he insisted that it wasn't the gas cap. It was the "Cadillac convertible." We said we would prefer to at least try replacing the gas cap to see if that cleared the engine light, as that one issue apparently was a $1500+ issue. He continued to insist it wasn't the gas cap. Obviously, I wasn't going to take the word of a man who doesn't know the difference between a catalytic converter and a Cadillac convertible. He even said, "Do you really think I would low-ball you with $1500 if it was the gas cap?" I wanted to reply, "Yes! I absolutely do!" However, we told him that our bottom-line was $3000, and we are just too far apart. He asked if we would come down at all, almost like he was panicking that we would leave with the vehicle. I said we would not and that we were done. After leaving the dealership, we decided to go to O'Reilly's Auto Parts to have them read the code and tell us what it said. They did so and the code came back "fuel system too lean." It was a completely different code than Lorenzo told us. And it was an issue that we were able to fix by replacing the oxygen sensor. A $160 part. The worker at O'Reilly even offered to purchase the vehicle from us for $4000 if we would take payments. This is a classic bait & switch and fraud. We were given a quote that they had no intention of honoring, and then they lied to us to defraud us out of what the vehicle is worth. Do not waste your time with them.

I am happy to say that our visit to this dealership went great and with out no pushback or fight on a fair price for the vehicle. Jonnathan Kiss was our salesman and he did amazing, was very helpful and responsive to our needs of getting financing with them. We got to test drive the vehicle for longer than even expected. Maybe in the future we hope to buy from them again.

My experience at Texas cars Direct was professional, quick , and satisfying. Our agent was helpful and we were able to drive off the lot in 2 hours time. Love the no haggle policy. This is the fifth car we have purchased from them and we have never been disappointed.

Poor customer service. They advertised features on a car and were not enthusiastic about selling or offering reasonable concessions. To you they are just a number and all they care about is their bottom line. That is why you see a $995 package added to the sale. This is obviously a pure profit product. Would not recommend these used car salesmen.

I just bought my dream car with Texas Cars Direct. I was in and out in 3 hours. This was fastest most easiest car buying experience. I went alone as a woman and I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. I was given the time I needed to make my calls and make a decision. I put 0% down on a car and I was in shock I was able to keep my money ( down payment) in my pocket. They worked with my budget of my monthly payment which I appreciate so much. I have owned my Infiniti for 3 days now and drive it everyday. No issues drives liked a brand new car. I love my car and this was the best car buying experience. I will purchase a car again through here and will refer my friends. Thank you so much Kyle for making this car buying experience the best one I ever had.
