I have a long story with Texas Drive Auto. In short, the vehicle presented a CVT problem 'randomly' which has not been found when text drive, within one week we purchased it. I explained with the dealer and they kindly agreed for an exchange. They are really considerable!

Ladies and gentlemen, let me say this, whichever community or local car dealership you go to and purchase a vehicle and no matter how clean, good looking inside and outside a car is, there is always a major hidden problem with the vehicle that they manage to minimize and hide it. We may not see or hear or know anything when you buy the car but if you wait for a few weeks, the major hidden problem will manifest itself and you will realized you got robbed, cheated from charging alot for a car. Oh make sure you utilize Kelley book before purchasing a car in those shops or warehouse. I bought a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze 1LT for 6k now I have lost 3k from it because the vehicle has an engine problem and a bad leaking problem which they managed to hide, minimize it. I hadn't even touched the car enough not up to a month. Now i am force to trade the vehicle asap. This is the worst experience i encountered in my entire car shopping experience. A message to TDAD, may y'all meet God someday who will shutdown your company for the shenanigans y'all do to the vehicles and for cheating, robbing customers.

If you're think it can't be enjoyable to buy a car, that's because you've never purchased from Texas Drive. I just bought a Volvo XC60 for my 16yo daughter and the process could not have been better. I worked with Simon and experienced the smoothest, lowest pressure sale possible. He even encouraged my to go look at other cars if I wasn't sure. He deals with used cars, so there is always a possibility things aren't perfect, but he works hard to make sure the cars are solid as far as they can tell, which is about the best you can get without a new car warranty. If I ever need another used car, I will start by calling Simon. It's rare to find a sincere, honest person and he is that man. I have no reservations recommending them for your used car needs.

We bought a 2012 VW TDI with the understanding that there were no lights on in the dash and that it was mechanically sound and when we test drove it the check engine light came on and it derated the power. And he would not refund our money,so we had to take the car. Then the fuel pump failed half way home, we had to get a tow to a shop and that will take a couple weeks to fix!! And then we had to rent a car to go the rest of the way home.

This concept is the only way to buy preowned automobiles. Upon arrival, I was apprehensive due to how busy it was ...which is a good sign. The facility is expansive and tidy. They were friendly, helpful. The car buying experience can be tough but they made it enjoyable!

I have been coming to this place consistently for my last 2 car purchases. If I could give 100 stars I would. Their customer service is top tier, their selection and variety of options is massive, and the experience is so easy and seamless with no feeling of being pressured. My husband and I left the Cadillac dealership to come here and we ended up buying two cars for a phenomenal deal! 100/100 recommend! Thanks

Awesome experience if you know how to shop for cars, and you know how to negotiate! My advice, never overlay for anything (not just cars) Keep an open mind. Use common sense and then get what you want! ✔️ It out

They let us test drive the vehicle and even encouraged us to go see other vehicles before settling. I purchased a used 2009 vehicle that runs perfectly, I've had it for just over a month now and I couldn't be happier. Ross, our sales guy, was helpful and upfront and explained every little detail that I didn't understand. I got the best deal possible as well. Highly recommend. (Just make sure to make an appointment )

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE!!!!! TRANSMISSION DIED 5 DAYS AFTER DRIVING OFF THE LOT!On 5/25 I purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder for $10k and I was told there was no issues with it. Thought I was getting a great deal and couldn’t be happier. 5 days later I’m at the Nissan dealership being told it’s gonna cost me $7k for a new transmission.Nissan said the transmission was severely slipping and there was a serious transfer case leak. Nissan said it would be almost impossible for a dealership not to know there was an issue and they suspected foul play was involved. I called asking that Texas Drive Auto at least pay for half the repairs since it was less than a week since I left the lot. I trusted that they didn’t know about it and that they would offer to at least pay something as an act of good faith.Unfortunately, they said all their cars are sold “as is” and it was my problem now. Well of course now that confirms to me that they knew something was up from the get go. Would not pay a cent of the profits they made off of me to help get me back on the road no matter how much I begged. Please, sincerely, do not purchase any vehicle from this dealership. These guys sold me a lemon and weren’t even apologetic about it. Save your money and go to someone trustworthy. Please learn from my mistake. If you would like to hear more about my experience, comment below.Hopefully at least one person sees this and saves themselves a major headache. What’s silly is just one lost potential customer could easily cover the costs of a repair. It pays to do good business and happy customers sell more cars. I’m contacting my legal aide and will update here with how the process plays out.
