I cancelled my gym membership and my emergency contact ( whom paid my gym membership) started getting charged for a non existent membership. He never stepped a foot or signed anything for any type of membership at Texas health fitness center. No one, including management was able to explain why instead I was told he doesn’t know why that happened that he is a new manager at the location however he suggested we dispute charges. Absolutely awful

This place is great. Indoor track; always available workout equipment; and first rate trainers.

Great place to exercise with like minded women. Lots of classes and exercise equipment as well as a nice track. The long pool accommodates several aquatic classes and open lanes for swimming.

They have all you need in a gym. I would love more class offerings. Friendly and accessible.

Great laid back gym with a pool! My favorite. A bit older, but very well maintained and with kind, friendly staff.Highly recommend.

The current staff working here are a huge - HUGE improvement to what have seen over the past 8 yrs. Before it was rare to see anyone cleaning the gym area, and front desk staff who spent all day playing with their phones. Now the front desk crew are friendly, helpful and professional and the place is always kept clean. Major kudos to the new management & staff!

My favorite thing about the workouts here is the people. We are like a family and everyone is pulling for each other. The trainers, besides the fact that they know their stuff, they make training fun and they know how to change it up.

This is a good alternative to the YMCA after the worst of covid. The fitness area is very spacious and clean while the equipment is both old school and modern. There is a separate free weight room in addition to separate rehab rooms. The pool is very small and its main purpose is for water cardio classes. The weight machines surround a full basketball court, with an indoor running track surrounding it. The locker rooms are spacious. Plenty of showers though rarely used. I can't say I've ever seen a huge crowd. This place caters to an older clientele which is cliquish, well-heeled and rather cold to strangers, but it's still a pleasant place to work out. They seem to have a decent offering of classes (including virtual). Definitely not a place for kids or young folk. I thought the monthly fees were competitive and I signed up for a year at a time. It's too bad they are closed on Sundays.

Nice facility and people. However as with other gyms, when the time comes to cancel your membership they will make things very difficult for you. Even if you've been a member for several years.
