I joined Alpha back in 2019, and let me tell you, if you're looking for knowledgeable strength trainers who have degrees and really know how your body works, this is the spot for you! As someone who's been running for a while, I needed to get my strength up, and Alpha has been amazing in putting me back together after all my old running injuries. I completely trust these guys and love taking their classes and hanging out with the friends I've made at the gym.

This month marks the one-year anniversary since joining Alpha. I was previously on all sorts of group exercises and online programs through the pandemic accruing injuries and having to stop training for weeks for recovery. In the meantime, I was also plateauing on my progress. Alpha's small group format provides a lot of individual attention focusing on form while the program incrementally challenges athletes of all levels to continually improve.

We have been members of Alpha Project strength & conditioning gym for over 2 years. The improvement in muscle mass as well as my cardio conditioning, is no joke. The trainers are all highly credentialed and educated well beyond most. The friendships we have developed with other clients we train with has been invaluable and make getting to the gym so easy and enjoyable. Everyone that joins becomes family.

Evan’s coaching is top notch. The work outs are design to push for strength, flexibility, and endurance. He pushes you but at the same time is conscious of your own fitness level to make tweaks accordingly.I leave every session feeling exhausted but accomplished. Couldn’t be happier with the coaching and highly recommend Alpha to everyone.

Emily and Evan are two of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the Dallas, TX area. They both are extremely knowledgable about exercise science and each bring unique strength and conditioning coaching experience. They have taken their collegiate coaching experience and have re-designed it so that the general population can experience it too. They're very professional, comply with COVID protocols and most importantly genuinely care about all their clients. It's great to see a team that constantly strives to improve their business and customer experience. Highly recommend them!

A great, well-equipped gym with awesome trainers. Overhead door opens right onto Katy Trail. Plenty of options for private or group classes. Check it out, and be prepared to get fit.

There have been big changes at Alpha Project since Emily and Evan took over. I was a college athlete (in my senior year) coming back from an arm injury, unable to get back into weight training without pain and discomfort. Though everyone in the class was doing the same workout, Emily and Evan made real-time adjustments to my workout, and kept me at a level my body could handle. They understood my injury and made adjustments so I could push myself and get stronger without hurting myself. For other clients coming in with injuries, these classes are great ways to get in your physical therapy. Emily and Evan have been working with athletes for years and really understand how to help the body recover and get stronger. As I got my strength back, I was able to push myself more each class. I started to realize the true sense of community at this gym. Everyone knows everyone, and each new face welcomed me with open arms. When you get in a schedule, you start seeing the same faces week in and week out. These are the kind of people who are cheering you along every lift, every run. It's such an encouraging environment, where the whole class wants to see you work your butt off, push yourself just a little bit more, and even PR. After 4 months at alpha I really began to see and feel the difference. I was stronger than I had ever been, even while training at school with my collegiate team. My core was defined, my arms and legs showed growth with the numbers to match. Emily and Evan also included nutrition help, and worked with me to create a diet that would bring me closer to my fitness goals. My friends started to notice the fat I was losing/muscle definition I was gaining. These coaches are truly so knowledgeable, and their classes follow a 6 to 8 week long program that helps their clients improve on certain focuses. Whether it be a program focusing on mobility, focusing on injury prevention, they always have the knowledge and experience to back up what they do. I'm learning more and more about my body with each class. And everyone I see in class, whether it's the kids like me fresh out of college, the 25-30 year olds, or even the 45-55 parents, everyone at this gym acts like a team, and everyone is pushing themselves and each other to give it as much as they can each workout. The workouts are definitely hard, but Emily and Evan start you at your OWN level. And with time, you'll see just how much you can grow here. Seriously, this gym has been life changing for me. I trust Emily and Evan with my health, and have loved having them cheer me on this past year. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

It is a fabulous place where the client who is serious about getting in shape and making healthy lifestyle changes experiences some of the best professional training by the trainers who are very qualified and skilled to help get their clients to where they want to be! Your classes are small and it's competitive and a fun atmosphere to get in shape right on the Katy trail! It's hard work but so worth it! I HIGHLY recommend this gym and I am so glad that Emily Hairston simmons is the new owner!
