A really great place to stay! Very nice rooms, everything was absolutely clean. We felt safe at all times. The tram with connections to the city center stops right in front of the door. There was a small pool and you could cook a steak on a grill! All in all very good!!!

I stayed here for about a week in February 2024. I took several walks to the Bishop Arts District which was a fun area with restaurants, stores and bars. There is another hotel called Bishop Arts right in the District but it would be louder there at night and I preferred the peace and quiet of the Bishop Arts by Bluelofts so it was the perfect location for me. Its also only a few minutes to downtown and the highway. My room was like a suite and I was able to work from the second room which was nice. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable. I did not go in the pool but I relaxed in the recliners by it. Its a beautiful pool area. Highly recommend this hotel!Rooms: I stayed in an African themed room. It was lovely and spaciousNearby activities: Shops, Restaurants, Coffeeshops, Bars, Downtown and ParksSafety: I felt safe and the gated parking is niceWalkability: I walked to Bishop Arts district and there are a few parks around as well.Noteworthy details: Great location

If you're looking for a unique experience in a hotel stay, this is it! I felt like I was staying in an art gallery. This place was very clean and quiet, and I felt safe here. It's nestled among a neighborhood of older homes and apartments. I wish I'd had time to explore the area, but maybe that can be an excuse to return sometime.Rooms: Very quiet and comfortable, although you can hear some sounds from guests in other rooms. They hold strict quiet hours and have rules against parties. My room came with a mini fridge and complimentary bottled water.Safety: The parking lot, building, rooms, and pool all require separate key code entries. There were also two types of deadbolts on the door to my room. These layers of security helped me feel really safe.

We stayed at Bishops Arts Hotel for one night. The room was very clean and extremely quiet. The hotel was in a great location close to restaurants and the hospital we needed to be at very early in the morning. Loved the contactless check in. Gated parking was great. We would highly recommend the Bishop Arts Hotel by Bluelofts to anyone coming into town.

Tried to book through the website, site doesn't work. Called the hotel and let the lady that was answering the phones on 01/04/2024 know that the website doesn't work and that I would like to book a room. She told me to go to the website and sign up and everything is on the website. I explained to her that the website is down right now and that's why i'm calling. She told me to go to the website and sign up and I explained again to her that the website is down and that's why i'm calling. Then we got disconnected.I called back three times and my call was picked up the third time.I asked if we got disconnected and she ignored my question. Then I told her that I can't sign up online and she told me that I need to sign up on the website. Then I asked again if we got disconnected or if she hanged up on me. She told me that "I told you you need to sign up on the website and then I hung up on you." Then she hanged up on me again.EDIT: Owner just responded that this is not the correct address for who I contacted. Misinformation. This address is managed and booked by the same person for both locations, as they are owned by the same group and both phone numbers route to the same person. I know this because I contacted both numbers.Noteworthy details: horrible customer service

Recently did a two night stay in a King suite room. Two people. Bedroom separate from living room; exactly as pictured on website. Large square footage for the price. Like a cross between a boutique hotel and a vacation rental.Management was very responsive via text, and someone was on property to greet us when we arrived, which was nice, but not necessary, as the check instructions were very thorough. Parking was easy, and the lot is gated. The bed was comfy and the sheets were soft.Bathroom had a tub and shower. Hot water could be a bit hotter, but was enough for a good soak.Location is great! We never left Bishop Arts and we ate and drank at Sketches of Spain, Paradiso, and The Wild Detectives.Would stay again!Rooms: Our room was large; there were plenty of chairs and ottomans/stools. It’s not a party hotel, but we had a couple of friends up for drinks and we were very comfortable. The couch was really squeaky and it is time to upgrade that piece of furniture, but it’s not a huge deal.Nearby activities: So many cafes, coffee shops, boutiques, restaurants, etc in the area. Really cute shops housed in restored homes.Safety: Felt 100# safeWalkability: You can walk easily to restaurants, a tea house, and grab-n-go foods. Our friends said they would use caution at night, but that’s any urban area anywhere…Food & drinks: Hotel provides coffee, ice, water, tea, microwave in common area. No store on site. Mini fridge in room.

Beware the property fee of $100. The "room rate" seems affordable because they have an additional $100 unexplained "property fee" that only appears when you go to checkout. For $260/night, I can get a proper hotel. No thank you.

I'm very picky when it comes to hotels, but The Bishop Arts Hotel by Bluelofts met my expectations. Overall clean room with quaint designs. This is a small hotel with an apartment-like feel, but cozy and in a safe gated area. Located not too far from local attractions in Dallas. Management was very accommodating to my unique travel needs and easy to keep in contact with.

Love this little gem. Good prices for the location and room quality. This is not the Oak Cliff I grew up in, enjoying the options now there. Would LOVE for them to put a little hot tub by the cute pool for colder days!
