Our in-store appointment went very well and we love our new custom pantry. The design consultant took into consideration everything we wanted in our space. Our newly built home had preset shelves that were not useful. We also have 10 foot ceilings so much of the space was not being used. We did the demo and had TCS do the install. First two photo's are before. Next one is after install and the last two are with our items in the pantry.

My husband and I decided to stop by while out shopping at Galleria. I have been in search for a pin board and wanted to see if they would have one. While they didn't have one Elaine was so very helpful in trying to order one online at a different location. While she was having a hard time trying to make this happen she did not give up. She went above and beyond to make sure I was gonna get my pin board no matter what. She was finally able to place the order so we could pick it up at another location. She also followed up with us to let us know the other location had the board and was ready for pick up. It was our first time at the Container Store and a great experience! Thank you so much Elaine! We appreciate you and what you did today. I got my board. It is so huge and perfect for my disney pins!

I came into the store with intentions to redesign my son’s closet. I worked with Katie, she was very rude and made me feel like my time with her was an inconvenience. I left and went to California closets and they were so kind and helpful. Katie was condescending, cruel, and not professional at all she really made me feel not welcome.

I just left the Container store. I have never felt like a group of uppity snobs dis NOT want to help me. I was looking for about 72 Elfa rolling cabinets. not only did the lady treat me like I was going to steal the display she also said they didnt have what i was looking for without letting me finish my sentence. I literally walked right up to the item. She stood there and just watched me with a disapproving look the entire time. then when I asked her the price she told me I'd have to look online. what a waste of my time. I'm sure Ikea wouldn't mind the business. sad! Know your prices. and be kind.

Store manager is not friendly or apologetic at all. She only wants to be right. The only good associate at this store that I’ve encountered is no longer there. I’d suggest going to a different location.

I was nervous since my mother was coming to be living with me and she loves to organize, so I knew a way to keep her busy and happy would be to have a bunch of shelves and organizing things for her to do so I came to the store and I was afraid I would not be able to afford a single thing in here.But they were having a massive sale on their Elfa, and on their clear bins, which I have been watching and wanting for a decade now, but could never afford and they were 50% off for black Friday and the Elfa in the platinum color was also 50% off because they were phasing out the color -- so suddenly everything was within my price range! Oh gosh, if not for Gina & Elaine, I would not have been able to put everything together that I needed!..Suddenly, the project was no longer daunting and the ladies made it so, so easy! Thank you!It was a little much for the two ladies to do at the towards the end of the night, right as the store was closing for the day, but they both gave it their all and helped me select and organize everything that I would need to put together the Elfa system for my mother, in the pool house.. we were all huffing and puffing, trying to fit everything in my son's pick up truck.. and the ladies went above and beyond their duties and helping me bring everything out... way beyond on their hours.. I felt so bad, but they were all smiles.. and a few things that I forgot they brought right out to me, even after their doors had locked..Thank you so much Elaine & Gina.. I could not have done it without you both!

My review is for the Custom Closet experience and has been a year in the making. Last year around this time, Hubby and I went to the Galleria Container Store to design our master bedroom Preston closet... and our experience was terrible.Design - The designing of the closet was painful. Pay close attention, if there are changes because the "design expert" in the store is NOT the one drawing the plans, but the middle man in a telephone game. The person holding the mouse does not make the appropriate updates and changes without a few painful rounds of the same request.Payment - Half of the five-digit closet price is due when the design is approved, BUT you cannot SECURELY pay for the first half of payment at the register in the store. We were forced to give our credit card to a random coordinator on the phone, which made us feel very uneasy.Wait - Then we wait for 3-4 months for the closet to be manufactured before installation is scheduled.Install - The initial installation involved three installers. One guy must of had a bad breakfast because he stayed in our guest bath for a majority of the day. There was ONLY one installer, Luke, who was respectful, conscientious, and responsible.After Install - The problem began after the install. A LED light strip kept falling down and there were scratches on the glass. Container Store sent an installer to fix the problems. Instead of fixing, this guy created all of the problems that would take almost 8 (yes, EIGHT) months to correct. This guy used so much superglue to "fix" the light strip that glue ran down the side of the wood panel. For the amount of money paid, the professionalism is to "fix" the problem with superglue? At least it was not duct tape...I demanded that the superglue ridden panels be replaced. Then the Container Store could not cut the panel correctly. I only allowed installer Luke to come back to fix the problem. Each time, the light strip was off measurement. This went one for 3 (yes, THREE) tries. During this time, NOT ONE Container Store manager ever reached out to us.After the third time of incorrect measurements, Luke took it upon himself to involve his managers. It was only at this time that Zandy, a manager, contacted me. Zandy had to expedite the correction and made sure that the panel was cut to measurement correctly.The entire closet install was delayed for almost 8 months and meanwhile, the contents of my closet was scattered around my house.With the exception of Luke, I would definitely NOT trust Container Store in such a big project. They are simply not capable of it. For the expensive price of a custom closet, you would think Container Store would have done better.

Everyone loves anything from The Container Store! They have consistently offered excellent quality items, friendly and helpful team members and a few sales sprinkled in. As luck would have it, I decided to finish out some built-in kitchen cabinets with Elfa sliding baskets, sadly without the Elfa sale happening. Since this built-in sideboard has a 17" depth, I am limited in my choices. I was greeted when I entered and I wanted to just walk around and see what was new since my last visit at another store. Another team member followed up and she was very helpful in selecting the rolling baskets we needed to match what we installed over 10 years ago. I don't know why we didn't do them all at the same time, but it was probably cost prohibitive at the time during our kitchen remodel. We made our way up front to the checkout counter to wait in line, but our sales lady was able to scan and tabulate and finalize our purchase right in our cart! Pretty cool! We didn't need any bags so we were on our way in no time! My receipt was emailed to me and we went home and installed the rolling baskets within the hour! A great feeling of organization and accomplishment!

The Container Store is my go-to. They have designed several closets in at least two of our homes. TCS folks are super professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The installer was in and out in an hour. He took out the shelf and rod in the current closet, repaired, painted and installed the new shelving in about an hour. I'm sure this would have taken a weekend of my time so more than worth the investment. I'm always cueing up an other project!Services: Closet design

This is a lovely place! They have beautiful closed solutions, and a wide variety. I loved looked at all the storage containers. Although this place is extremely pricey. I think it is over prized for what they sell and i would buy everything if it wasn’t that way! Besides that it’s super fun and the staff was amazing.

The closet store! Do you need to say more! When I came out the closet I thought everyone would think I was gay. But no.. I am a straight designer. And this store ran to all my needs! If you need an amazing runner then drive here!
