The Dallas World Aquarium offers a unique experience that combines both a zoo and an aquarium. Visitors can start their adventure at the top of the rainforest exhibit, where they encounter exotic birds, sloths, and endangered animals like Orinoco crocodiles and Giant river otters. The aquarium features fascinating marine life, including Japanese crabs, jellyfish, and various seadragons, while guests can also view penguins and fish in the outdoor South Africa exhibit and Mundo Maya cenote. However, the experience can be marred by long wait times, especially on weekends, and the narrow pathways often lead to congestion. Some visitors report that certain exhibits were empty and felt that the aquarium portion did not meet their expectations after the vibrant rainforest experience. Despite the crowds, many guests appreciate the variety of species and find the ticket price to be reasonable for the experience. Overall, The Dallas World Aquarium is a beautiful destination that is recommended for families and those looking for an engaging way to spend a rainy day, but arriving early is suggested to avoid the rush.
More than just an aquarium. It’s like a zoo in a city building.

Fantastic. Go on a weekday if possible. No big crowds to work through and we still spent most of the day there. Plenty of waking but nice rest areas.

A lot of interesting birds, animals, and fish in that order. Beautiful building but a frustrating layout. But what annoyed me the most was NO information about them unless you scan it
