Total RIPOFF! 16 years and only 12 reviews! THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES! You have been Warned!!!!!They charged me $1000.00 to do my taxs! I thought that was high but it was the first year I had business taxs. I provided my EIN # and P&L statement to the slicksters, why would I do that? I wanted and expected business tax's. and paid the IRS the amount the Slicksters said I owed.Assuming it was because of the business. But they did not do my business taxs, only my personal!
This company is SLICK but not in a good way!
I told them to never contact me again and every year they include me in their drip campaine and text me asking for my business.
So Steve every year you harrass me with text and emails I will give you another 1 star review. At least that will give you more than 12 reviews in 16 years!

After Stephen Schlichting dad passed away it seems like this place is going down hill. I paid for them to be power of attorney to help with my taxes. 3 months later and I am still chasing them down, leaving voicemails, and having to talk to their secretary to put me in thru direct. It is like Stephen, does not care to return phone calls and keep his clients in the loop. During that time, IRS was about to freeze my assets and not one phone call was made on behalf of Schlichting Group to handle my tax issues.
I should of known better when they relocated to a run down mall to do their business. Downsizing was the 1st red flag.
The Schlichting Group is hanging on their last thread. They can not even maintain a relationship with their clients with proper communication.
Save your money and go else where. IF you have serious tax issues these folks are not prepared to handle it in a timely fashion.
