Horrible customer service. The person who packed my order forgot a few items, and I was charged for them. In which case, I called back to request a refund. She puts me on hold, and comes back with “now what’s your problem?” She then tells me that it’s impossible that I don’t have those items im missing and that it’s “weird”. Just giving attitude for no reason. All for her to tell me at the end of that call that she can give me a refund on the items I don’t have. Why did it take 5 minutes to reach that conclusion? There was no reason for attitude either.

This particular Tom Thumb is purpetually out of stock on many items and throws whatever they have on to the shelves to make them appear full.In general, though, Tom Thumb irritates me by riding the new industry standards of having only self checkout open and requiring one to use an app on their phone in order to get coupons and deals. Two things which are the very opposite of "customer service".

This Tom thumb has the worst donut and bagel selection I've seen at a tom thumb. Also they don't include any condiment packets in with their $6.49 sandwich. Guess Kroger will start getting my business from now on with sandwiches for 4.99 it doesn't matter if it's included or not.

HORRIBLE customer service ! In addition to our regular groceries, we bought a few items that were marked down 50%, when we went to check out they do not honor it ! Why would the store mark down items and not honor the reduced price ? We decided to return them immediately and two women employees were not very nice and when we questioned about the mark down, they had no answer just attitude. Very disappointing.

I am so beyond tired of being in their employees way. I cant go there to shop at any hour of any day without at least one employee being aggravated at me. I have to find a new store. It must be a great job if it weren't for the customers.

No more cranky employees for us. It seems every time we come here we run into a cranky employee. This time we were bringing back a $30 plant that didn’t survive two weeks despite being an indoor plant and well watered. The person at the service desk said they only guarantee plants for seven days. That is ridiculous. Other stores guarantee plants for a full year. She had no customer service skills whatsoever like most Tom Thumb employees we encounter. We will just dispute this on our credit card and get it refunded that way. Buyer beware.UPDATE: Tom Thumb replied to our comment (probably just a bot) to contact them via their weblink. We did, and several days later nothing back from them. Par for course. Continued poor customer service. We have disputed the charge with our CC company and will get the refund that way. Sad to see this company go down hill. I recommend shopping at Trader Joe's or Central Market.

I am flagging the store for extremely poor customer service. A lot of seniors shop here, and it is unacceptable how they deal with customers. We have come a long way from the days when checkers would check you out, someone would bag your groceries, and even take them to your car for you! Today, customers are expected to do all of that and more. I had to check out, bag my own groceries, and was carrying two heavy bags when the Tom Thumb employee, who was just standing watching everything insisted I move my cart a few feet to where the other carts were. I would have been happy to do so except it was impossible struggling with the two big bags and not having had any previous help. She could clearly see my situation. The employee was furious that I did not keep struggling and put my heavy bags in and out of the cart to move it while she just sat and watched everything. It was not difficult for her to help, but she apparently feels entitled to force the customers to do everything. I am concerned about senior citizens being treated like this -- I fortunately don't live here and don't need to shop here much, but the management should teach employees to have a helpful attitude rather than one where they are in charge of making sure the customers do all of the work. Otherwise, the store looks decent.

Extremely poor Customer service!!I _CALLED IN_ before going to the store to ask if there was a limit on money orders as I needed on for $875. The lady told me there was no limit. Then I went to the store to purchase it, anD AGAIN, the rep did not tell me there was a limit. ONLY after I purchase the money order and the money had been taken out of my account did she tell me she could ONLY print a order for $500 and a separate one for $375. The department only takes a SINGLE piece of payment so now I have to go deposit these back into my account, wait for them to clear and get a cashier’s check anyways.Thanks, again, for the horrible customer service, Tom Thumb!And the Store Manager looked at me and told me “it’s no big deal”, yet if it were her money and her need to get a single payment form, I bet she would also be complaining. Again, poor Leadership begets poor worker attitudes.

Im not one to write reviews about a grocery store but I bought some meat from the butcher and was so disappointed with the pre-marinade steak that was recommended and also felt sick a few hours after eating. Unsure of how they marinate but it was extremely bland and not worth the stomach ache.

I purchased this on 2/14/23. I grabbed it from the items you can get right next to the self check out register. How do you have something that is expired since November sitting on your shelves?
