The store was beautiful, clean and organized. However, I can not recommend this particular store. The problem is OSCAR the grouch. He accused me and my gf of stealing as we were still checking out and we were WORKING instacart. He claims that we didn't scan all of the items, which was not true. He was very aggressive and rude the way that he approached us and the way that he spoke to us. He literally was pushing us out of the store with a basket cart, we felt threatened and uncomfortable. Just because we're black, it doesn't mean that we're stealing. Save yourself the trouble and go to another Tom thumb.

wow, this place is an embarrassment. Even walmart is better than this store. I constantly get bent over the table with the goods sold here:
- Charged way too much for vegetables and fruits that should have been sold days ago.
- Expired perishables being sold.
- Overpriced, yet subpar meat.
- Incredibly rude cashiers.
- Self checkout attendants who sit and play on their phone instead of doing their job, and being incredibly rude when they do.
At this point, I’ve decided to stop giving them my business entirely.

This is my first time ever doing a Google review, but I felt compelled because of my experience with Chris at this Tom Thumb .
I had a really big, mobile app, pick up order that needed some substitutes since some things were out of stock. I had some trouble communicating through the app, so I called the store and Chris picked up. This man was so so helpful and kind. I honestly felt a little self-conscious about how big my order was, but Chris made me feel very cared for and did not make any low-hanging fruit jokes. I also appreciate it that he came out to greet me and assured that I was taking care of. I don't do many pick up orders and so I was a little stressed for this, but this. experience really made my day.
Chris, if you get to read this, thank you so much for all your help and going the extra mile in checking what was in stock for me. If Chris supervisor sees this, Chris is incredible and deserves a promotion/raise.

We are longtime, loyal shoppers at Preston Forest Tom Thumb. The long remodel of the store, while appreciated, is an unorganized mess. On a daily basis, items are unavailable or impossible to now locate. No end date given.
Corporate needs to take a loss and close store for a couple of weeks, instead of continually inconveniencing the customers with no apology or support.

This store is VERY DISAPPOINTING!! Even the manager is rude & not AT ALL interested in taking care of customers. When my delivery was wrong he REFUSED to bring me the correct item EVEN THO I LIVE 5 MINUTES AWAY & IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY DINNER. He actually told me to shop elsewhere. I'm sure that is what TT wants customers to hear. Millions of $$ on advertising RUINED by an uncaring employee
I'm taking his advice to shop elsewhere. You should too.

This Tom Thumb is horrible for flowers. I’ve been going to various Tom thumbs over the years and always get a bouquet with flowers of my choice to be wrapped for just a couple of dollars and today they wanted to charge me $59 for a “design fee” plus the flowers. Totally not worth it!
