Tried to rent a 20 in chainsaw, employee stated none of their 18-20 in chainsaw will start. Only ones that would work would be the 16 in. Why have them put on the rental floor if they do not work? Why not send them in for service?

Beware of the scam that is Home Depot windows. The salesmen will mislead you about the nature and quality of the service. They will not inform you of the true cost of the project nor will they make accurate predictions of when the job will be done. Once the sale is made, you will not have calls, texts or emails responded to. If they do respond, they will lie to you about when the job will be completed. We paid for a large numbers of windows to be replaced in our house. More than six months after paying the job is still not complete. They have still not installed all we'd paid for. No excuses. No effort. Had to file a complaint challenging the payment just to get them to return calls. This is an utter scam. Go anywhere else to get your windows job and you will be much happier. Buyer beware.

Are after being told to wait for 15 minutes associates told me that they would not be able to assist me as the person who told me to wait and decided to leave so that they would not have to help me with cutting wood. I can't believe this store is still open.

Avoid the Lemmon Ave location! I walked in today looking for bird seed. Two employees directed me to the wrong location. I tried to find another rep but couldn't find one. So I took my business across the street to Lowe's! Found what I needed easy peasy!

A big man greeted me at the door and was rude and dishonest. He also had a bad odor about him that needs to be cleaned up. His managers should teach him how to be factual rather than self-righteous.

This is by far the worst Home Depot in the state of Texas. if you live in DFW & are a contractor DO NOT USE this location. The pro desk is a complete joke & the building staff have little to no experience with Contractors orConstruction. The General Manager should be fired because it's truly just sad at this point. I'm sure the only reason they are still employed is because of the total revenue that location brings in each year. This lolocation is in the heart of Dallas & it's the only Home Depot for probably close to 1.5 million people. All I can say is "Stay Away Contractors". Use the Fort Worth Ave location in Oak Cliff. they are extremely knowledgeable & very helpful over there!

The previous day i shopped in this store and in a matter of 10 minutes encounter the most RUDE employees. One lady smarted off and basically called an employee stupid to his face. Another employee yelled at my wife for walking down an isle that wasn't blocked off. The next day to avoid the store, i did an online pick up, waited around for hours, and completely changed my day around this pick up. Just woke up to an email saying they cancelled my order. Save your self some time and just go to the Lowe's next door.

What a horrible experience of costumer service at the rental department. I got this employee Ben at this location who once I ask I was in need of rental, he was more entertained in watching the World Cup in his computer instead helping me. Then, Ben start to help somebody else that came after me, instead. Finally, when I got his attention, I asked for a van, and Ben said they did not have Vans, only trucks, which is different for what the Home Depot website says. Finally, after all of this time, he just gave the keys and instead walking me to the truck, he just gave me the keys of the truck to figure by myself where the truck was parked. Of course, he was too busy watching his World Cup on the Home Depot computer. I just hope this Ben at the Rental Department has a good supervisor at Home Depot that can correct him in the real customer service of this Bussiness.

If you are considering Home Depot for a project..run! I gave up $4000 to do the right thing and share my experience with you…my experience with Home Depot is as follows❤️ Re: job #11128950 My name is Lori xxxxx and I have been in contact with you at various times through the duration of this project. Here is a recap of the issues involved: -projected time required for project initially one day (June 29) morphing to weeks then months -window manufactured incorrectly requiring a reorder -glass door panel installed with cracked glass requiring replacement -all window screens installed backwards and ripped. -window sash damaged requiring replacement -door trim installed without prior approval or discussion resulting in negative esthetic changes to the structure -installed window was inoperative requiring repair. The time I was required to provide for this project far exceeded what I was told to expect. Home Depot’s mistakes cost me tens of thousands of dollars in lost wages. As an airline Captain a day off means not flying a trip, which can mean 3-6 days of lost revenue. In addition to the financial cost, my integrity was attacked including Atlanta personnel accusing me of lying regarding lack of notification for the time this project may require. I have all correspondence available for review. I endured misogynistic and disrespectful attitudes, actions, and words from your installation contractors. I was told I was behaving like a cop when I asked to see Home Depot identification. I was told parts for the windows did not exist, and then I found the parts discarded in the garbage. I was told parts did not need to be installed because the installers did not want to install them. I was talked about in a derogatory manner in Spanish. Unbeknownst to the contractors, I speak Spanish. I was shown one color and type of trim which I approved, and then the contractor installed something else claiming it was the same. When I held the sample next to what was installed, the difference was obvious. When caught in the lie, the installer walked off the job leaving a 200lb glass door panel balanced precariously against a wall along with trash and other hazardous materials. The financial and emotional costs created by Home Depot’s mistakes have been excessive. I expect a company that prides themselves on the quality of their products, workmanship, and guarantees to want to rectify mistakes to the best of their ability, not the least. The dismissive email I received from Home Depot stating their offer of a $2500 rebate was fair compensation “and they were sticking with that”, was insulting in tone and amount. I don’t expect something for nothing, but I also don’t expect a purchase to cost so much beyond what I was told to anticipate. We all pay for our mistakes one way or another, usually financially or with our reputations. We don’t always choose to do the right thing, but we always feel the consequences of our choices. Your customers expect Home Depot to do better. I hope you do too. Sincerely, Lori xxxxxxx

Do not under any circumstance do curbside pickup here. They'll have you waiting 45 minutes after you check in the parking spot, then you'll have to go inside anyway to get whatever you bought. Absolute garbage customer service.

Piss poor customer service, I had to ask for help four times and each time the employee looked at me said OK someone will be with you shortly no one ever came so after 45 minutes I just left and I will never visit that store again. Employees had no sense of urgency whatsoever.

I made an online order last night after closing, to be picked up in-store today. At 7:45am they texted to say my order was ready. The store is always a madhouse and a few of the items I'd ordered are on the larger/awkward side so I opted for curbside pickup. Of course all 4 designated curbside pickup parking spaces were occupied, and not a single one by a person actually using that service. But it won't acknowledge that you're here waiting for your order unless you're in one of those 4 spaces. So I waited for one of those spaces to open up...and waited some more. Finally I was able to move into one of those spaces, and I "checked in". Within the next 5 minutes 2 more of the designated spaces opened up and we're immediately filled by other curbside customers...and both their orders were promptly brought out. Meanwhile I've been in this spot for an hour and 45 minutes (and waiting for this spot with my hazard lights on for 40 min prior)...as if I don't have a million things I need to be doing. I called and sat on hold waiting to speak to an associate for 20 minutes and when she answered she said my order hadn't been assembled yet...even though I'd been notified that it HAD, over 5 hours earlier. She said she'd get someone to start on it ASAP...that was 47 min ago. I would just go in and grab it but the app doesn't give you that option once you've arrived & checked in.

Stopped at Home Depot to get a couple of thing for home. I was looking to buy a drill and asked one team member if he could help me with it. He told me to wait at the aisle, someone that worked at that department was going to go help me. I had to leave without the drill, no one showed up. Also, where is all the staff hiding? I found this one guy after looking around for some time. Heading to Lowe's to buy the drill

Worst Home Depot ever. 1 they closed the garden center at 3 PM and closed the doors. The hours said 8am - 8pm. Second this sales associate inside was rude and yelled at me and my girlfriend for literally NO reason. We were looking at outdoor furniture and she walks by and says "YOU cant be here" what the f*** does that even mean??? Felt unwelcome and honestly bullied. Idk who that lady was but needs to get the stick out of her a***
