Neat and clean like every other TJ’s I’ve visited. Easy to find what I was looking for, and the cashier gave us a free chocolate treat when we checked out.

I have shopped at Trader Joe’s on Lovers several times and the employees have always been so pleasant but today Mika went out of her way to help me. She went to her car and gave me her personal large insulated bag for my frozen groceries since I had a long drive home. She also got me frozen water bottles to ensure my groceries kept since, on top of a long drive, I was waiting on my car to be serviced, too. Camryn and Travis were very kind at the register and eager to help too. I never write reviews but couldn’t go without giving a public shoutout to these employees! Thanks again, Mika!

I absolutely LOVE Trader Joe’s! I wish there was one in East Texas. There are some many delicious snacks and foods that you wouldn’t fine anywhere else. Very unique snacks that I would never have thought about. Not as expensive as you would think. I believe that most of their items are priced really great! I highly recommend going to Trader Joe’s and try out anything that looks good too you!

ELVES at Trader Joe’s!
With tears of Gratitude in my eyes, I write this review. I have always loved TJ‘s! From back in the day, long ago when I shopped in Salt Lake City, to Dallas, which I have called home a little over 10 years. Their variety of products year-round is absolutely amazing! Every season, they have something new. Along with that, they bring back the Classics. Thanksgiving/Christmas: The wonderful pumpkin spice varieties, the Kringles, the candles, little treats here, and there that you find throughout the store. In years past, Here in Dallas, I live alone, and some years I didn’t feel like putting up a Christmas tree so I would get one of those tiny, tiny grinch trees. I would put it on my coffee table. And I would talk to my children and grandchildren on Christmas, and I’m content.
My children are grown, I’m a grandfather, and my family is in Salt Lake City. Finances being as they are today, it’s not financially smart for me to move to be closer. I lost my job after 16 1/2 years at the end of May, there’s no unemployment, no public aid, so I sold off not my 401(k), but some stock I had accrued, to help me till I found my next career step.
So today, I remembered the Thanksgiving potato chips that they carry at Trader Joe’s And I thought that would be a nice treat over the next week. I went to Trader Joe’s, and although I’m not in the mood to put up a tree, I wasn’t wanting one of the Grinch trees either. As I went inside, there was a display of goodies behind the sample display, and I found a cloth made bouquet of tree, branches and red and white pom-pom berries. An employee was walking by and I asked him the price, and they were $10.99, and I thought my head “this is a want not a need” so I asked him if they might go on sale in the new year, he said “possibly if there are any left, they might” and I said OK, I would check back. I don’t know why, but I told him, I’m still looking for that job, I’ve told my children not to bother, sending me anything, and that I wouldn’t be able to send them any money or gifts this year. I don’t know why I told a complete stranger that, I just did…
So I go about my shopping, and I picked up one of the most wonderful little cinnamon scented from, it’s probably 4 inches big LOL, It was only $1.29, and I thought that would be good to bring home and figure out a place to put it to make my home smell like cinnamon. I picked up the chips, which I absolutely love, I picked up some kosher dill pickle slices in a jar that are amazing! And a couple of protein bars.
I got to the register and the young man I spoke with earlier, “JASON” put a bouquet of those cloth berry stick things in my cart and said to tell the cashier That Jason said it was OK. He gave them to me.
I’m usually the guy that over the years I would give the shirt off my back To people, especially at the holidays. I watch videos on TikTok and YouTube of people doing kind things and I feel bad Because I can’t this year.
I’m sure if you made it this far reading, you also understand this spirit of Christmas and the spirit of sharing.
Thank you to JASON and the ENTIRE CREW at Trader Joe’s, Lovers Lane and Inwood! May you all have a blessed and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, And may the new year bring you all, the best that you could wish for! ❤️☃️🎅🏻❄️🎄❤️
