I tried to address a quality issue with the flowers at this store, but of course, the Karen behind the counter had to be a Karen. Instead of listening or acknowledging the concern, she just dismissed it with, “We’ve been doing this for years.” This is exactly why I avoid this location. When you shop on a budget, I guess you also get budget service—with a side of attitude.

In the early 1990's when I lived in Los Angeles, Trader Joe's was just starting to expand from their original Pasadena location into the Los Angeles area. One thing that every additional store had in common was cramped parking lots. Like today, Trader Joe's tended to move into existing, smaller shopping areas where there was already limited parking. Fast forward 30 years to Dallas' "Preston Hollow Village" and what do we have? Customers driving round and round to find parking, navigating around tight turns, squishing into a parking spot before the car behind them takes it. This must be one of Trader Joe's core marketing strategies: create need and interest by giving the impression that the store is always at capacity. I was over it in 1994, and I still don't want to shop there in 2024.

It’s not bad there’s a lot of good things here you’re definitely gonna pay for it though the one thing I will say is just because it’s a Trader Joe’s doesn’t mean it’s healthy. Read the packaging. Overall, I really like this place. You can find very healthy things here that you typically can’t find other places.
