I've been going to training mate for about 4 months now and all I can say is not only is this the best studio I've been to in Dallas, but the best studio that I've ever been to (and i've been to a lot). All of the instructors are 10/10, amazing energy and the entire staff is so incredibly sweet. If you're looking for a good workout and a place where you can feel a sense of community ... look no further!

Hands down the best circuit style gym in Dallas. I have classpass due to commitment issues, but I go to this gym nearly every week! I haven’t found anything that compares to it. The staff and members are all so friendly, and the classes have a lot of variety with just the right amount of difficulty. All of the instructors are great, but I’m pretty loyal to Ryan. He has a great energy and I always find his workouts fun and unique. He honestly treats every member like he’s their number 1 fan! If you are new to exercise or intimidated by the thought of trying a new gym do NOT hesitate to come here. It is such a supportive and judgment-free environment. I tell everyone I meet about this place and nobody has ever been disappointed!

My first experience at Training Mate was simply amazing. Ryan was my coach for my first visit and after training with him, I'm excited to sign up for an unlimited membership. I've worked out with countless trainers, HITT studios in the Dallas area, and this by far was my favorite workout experience in a group setting. Lower impact, but high intensity enough to burn 300+ calories. I'm excited to add Training Mate to my workout rotation. Thank you Ryan for being the ultimate hype man keeping me fueled and motivated through the workout!

A must experience HIIT gym class if you want to have a good time and get a challenging workout. The instructors are amazing and the community itself is a good time. Take friends with you and make new ones.

Absolutely love this place. Every single one of the trainers and staff members is always smiling and full of energy. They can turn the groggiest and most unmotivated of mornings into the best workout of my week.

This place has inspired me to write my first review in YEARS. That's how much I like it! Before buying an unlimited membership, I thoroughly stalked it on the internet reading different reviews and combing through their website. All the reviews were great everywhere. I eventually made the purchase commitment. Glad I did. Luke Milton (of Khloe Kardashian fame) and his team are fantastic! Originating in Australia, Dallas is honored to have the first location outside of SoCal.In the past, besides working out at the gym where I live, I've also always hired a personal trainer. My last one had to quit, and for the last year, I've been really lazy and only half-ass working out on occasion (hence why I need the accountability of a trainer!). Well, with summer and my 40th birthday celebration in Spain approaching, I'm ready to get snatched again! ;-)This was my first time joining a group workout-type place. I was nervous I'd be the nerdy newbie not knowing what to do. Nope. Each session they explain everything to you. The energy of the trainers is infectious! Everyone walks around giving high-fives with encouragement. There are people of all fitness levels, and while you're getting encouraged to "push" yourself, it can be done at your own comfort level. It's not your typical gym. It's either the group HIIT classes (with different workouts targeting different body parts on different days of the week) OR one-on-one personal training in a separate, designated gym. They even have special events, like my first session just happened to be "no shower happy hour." I thought this was just a polite way of saying you couldn't use their showers (they have them) after this session for some reason. Nope. It was a legit HH after the workout. They brought out Trulys and beers! Neat! ha.They are currently offering some great deals for first-time Dallas members to easily try it out without much commitment, for example: $7 for 7 days. I dove in head-first and bought the unlimited membership (3 month minimum) that comes with some additional perks. The deal being the first month is only $99.Check it out!

G'day, mate! High-energy, high-intensity training happens here! I took a class with the owner/founder of Training Mate, Luke Milton. How lucky are we that he teaches classes in Dallas! I took this class through ClassPass, but I believe they offer a 7 days for $7 deal for first-timers so that you have the chance to try out their various classes offered throughout the week! The class I went to was called Bondi Burn, which is their name for upper body-focused training. The circuit is set up in triplets - (3 exercises, 2 rounds each) x 3 sets. Each exercise uses different equipement - ski-ergs, rowers, assault bikes, pull-up bars, powerbars, dumbbells. And then a bit of corework at the end of class. Luke kept the timing for us (45 seconds on, 15 seconds to switch/rest) and encouraged us the entire time - "You're a star! You're a legend!" creating a lively, positive environment. The workout was certainly intense, but I had so much fun!Luke is a super fun instructor, and I see why people are willing to wake up early for a 5 or 6am class with him! By the end of class, he had learned my name, and I felt welcomed in his space. I didn't get to individually meet anyone taking the class, but everyone seemed friendly and excited to be there. The restrooms are supremely clean, white and glistening! They don't have a sauna, but their shower stalls are extraordinarily large, so it felt nice to just relax a bit after class. Lockers are located outside the restrooms. There is a parking garage right below the complex, no payment necessary.
