Don’t come here. They charged me for 5 gallons of fuel because it wasn’t at the exact part of the gauge that they wanted. Never coming back ever again.

This place must have a reputation for overcharging :) They charged me $39 for the gas not being at 1/4 full, so I asked to take a picture. You guys tell me, isn't this over 1/4? Feel like they should credit me, not charge $39 :)

Use your money and patronize an establishment that respects their customers.
I was returning a truck rental along with putting a few things in storage recently. I arrived before close and there was also another young gentleman who was waiting outside. I saw the manager trying to hide in the back of the store with the lights off to avoid servicing us. I proceeded to knock on the door and eventually he came to the door, however he started speaking to us through the glass of the front of the store! Not only that, it was raining torrentially outside, and we were soaking wet. He never opened the door. He told me to use the app to return the truck and drop the keys in the drop box. Keep in mind I had no idea how to access the storage facility, nor did I know how to find my storage unit. This was the most unsettling customer service experience I have ever had and I will never book with U-Haul again.

I got a hitch installed here, the whole process went really smoothly. The staff figured out a better hitch model that was more compatible for my vehicle and also cost less to install. Appreciate their help

Despite renting many U-Haul over the past decade, this is the first positive U-Haul experience I can recall. As far as I can tell, it’s because this location is owner-operated. He even included some extra miles for free. The only con is my 15’ U-Haul truck did not come with cruise control, which makes for a long cross-country drive.

Truck engine blew up in the parking lot. They acted like they could do nothing to help me, only cancel the rental. I had to call U-Haul myself to get another truck.

Do NOT rent from this location. I was charged for furniture pads that I did not use. $5 a pad for a total of $60 charge! Then 2 weeks later I was just charged $147. Uhaul Customer service does not know why this was charged and the manager will not return phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.

We use uhaul quite often for our business and this location is always the best - they always have the right size truck when needed and the staff is great.

The staff here is terrible, especially Adrian and Ross. I was told they didn't have a truck available for me when I had made a reservation weeks in advance and proceeded to say they could not help find another truck in the area. They basically would not help me and acted bothered that I walked into the store. I returned after calling the 1-800 customer service number who then told me there was indeed a truck for me and was in the process of getting cleaned. I returned and Adrian was beyond rude again and never apologized for providing the wrong information originally. She honestly could care less and unsure why she is in a customer service job if she is so miserable there. I was told to call customer service again after I return my vehicle for some type of compensation, which basically just shares the report details with the store manager, Ross. Ross also has zero customer service skills and sent me the most generic email 'apologizing for the miscommunication' and only refunded me $50, when they delayed my moved by 2+ hours and treated me poorly for literally walking into the store. He could not pick up the phone to apologize for his staff. I will never use Uhaul again for my move and hope anyone reading this thinks twice before going to this location.

The owner was the only employee there, and I was the only customer (nice). He was half interested in helping me with this rental and barely explained anything. He was more interested in his cellphone than me.
I was moving my belongings from Dallas, Tx to San Marcos, TX (250 miles south).

One suggestion that may not be specific to this location, but more to the mobile app experience is that the app shows a single price for renting the truck, but doesn’t say upfront that there’s a certain number of mileage included and beyond that you get charged for additional miles I think it would be better to show that upfront that was my only complaint about the rental. Everything else went pretty smooth. I used the mobile app to check out and check in. It had a bit of a learning curve to the process, but now that I am aware of it, I believe it would go even smoother next time.

2/17/24. When I picked up the truck in the morning the customer service was ok. But when I returned the truck in the afternoon, I walked up to the desk again to tell him I was returning the truck. He just says “do it over there!” and points. I said “Where?, the next building?” He says “No the tent! The tent! Line up at the tent!”
So I line up at the tent and nobody explains to me what to do. The worker at the tent when he finally acknowledged me after 10 minutes just barks “Line the truck up straight! And make sure the keys are in the ignition!” They should tell people that when you return the truck you should drive up to the tent. This would eliminate the disgruntled workers from treating customers like cattle. Very rude service here.
