Great salon at this location! I usually go to Ulta for my haircuts but had not been in a while since my stylist moved. This time Yulma cut and styled my hair and it was amazing! She is a very experienced and talented hair stylist, having owned her own salon before leaving to raise a family. You can’t go wrong with Yulma. She will ask you what you want and follow your request to a T! Many stylists will cut too short or not exactly how you ask, but Yulma is very flexible and considerate to her clients needs. Since then I have returned for a second cut and it was just as great as the first time.

Had a horrible experience at this location today. Security guard will follow you around the entire time making you feel like a thief even though you have a basket full of items. Make sure you remember your coupons because they definitely won't remind you about them at checkout. I knew half way through my trip I should have left and driven down to the location near the Galleria.

Love Love Love this location. The workers there are always friendly. Always greet me when I enter. Always willing to offer advice or answer any questions I may have. This location is 5 minutes away from my job so I stop by here atleast 3 times per week.HOWEVER the security guard (1 in particular) makes shopping there extremely uncomfortable. If you’re black then he will follow you around the store. Whenever you arrive he is standing at the front door and doesn’t move, but as soon as I (a person of color) walks in you will not find him at the front of the store. He will be pacing back and forth down every isle you are on. So today LMAO I saw that he was working, so I gathered my daughter (20) and my husband and told them the situation. I told them we are going to go in and separate on 3 corners of the store to see what happens. OMG it was HILARIOUS watching him try to keep up with the 3 of us. I promise I’ve never seen him walk so fast in all the days he’s been following me around.So from what I have gathered, there is only 2 security guards that work the closing shift (tall dark skin with a low haircut, and a short 5’2 brown skin with locs). Only 1 actually follows people of color around (Mr. 5’2). The tall security guard is extremely nice and always greets me upon my entrance and exit. He has never followed me around the store unlike the other.With that being said, if you are a POC beware. & if you want to shop in peace then I suggest you find another Ulta or go on the days Shorty Duwop isn’t working. ?Ok BYE

I just got a haircut from Yulma and I love it!She did such a beautiful blowout as well on my thick hair and nailed it!! The whole experienced was wonderful such a sweet person and so talented…She made me feel so comfortable and pretty!!! She also speaks Spanish and that really helped.! Would 100% recommend her!! She the best!!

Ashley D. Was so helpful! I came in pretty clueless about what I needed and bombarded Ashley D. With questions?. She was so patient/explanatory. She helped me with everything from skin care to hair care. I walked out feeling very confident in the products we chose. I've been an avid Ulta customer for over 4 years and this location has specifically surpassed my expectations!

Ana Sophia (I hope I spelled it right!) spent a long time helping me with my skincare routine and I’ve never had a more helpful experience in Ulta! I might come back here (even though it was out of my usual way) just for the service I received here!

Xavier helped my girlfriend find a match for her foundation, he was extremely helpful explaining the technique of applying it. He is clearly a pro and only took 2 tries to find the right shade!

Just found out Kevin the GM, and Xavier another manager are both leaving!!! What is going on? These two are the best of the best and it's a shame that Ulta will be losing these two.

As other reviews have stated, this location is very rude, unfriendly, and "uppity". I've never been greeted or asked if I need help, and whenever I check out, it's never "have a great day" or "take care" - just straight attitude or silence. For those who live in the Dallas area, I always go to the location near the Galleria now, as I'm treated with respect and friendliness there. I'd rather make the farther drive than deal with this location.
