Visited the Dallas UPS Store for a quick shipping need. The service was efficient, and the staff handled the transaction competently. The store was organized, but it felt a bit understaffed during my visit, leading to a longer wait time than expected. Prices were in line with standard UPS rates. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, meeting the basic expectations for a shipping service without any notable highs or lows. Suitable for straightforward shipping and packing needs.

The young lady at front desk this evening was probably very overwhelmed with the holiday’s and I complete understand. But why be insolent. I was thrown off by her question regarding who the shipment was for and my response to that was “family” and when I noticed her unpleasant vibe to my answer. I responded back with New Jersey. #sorrynotsorry that you aren’t being polite nor direct.

Really bad customer service. She does not even deserve 1 star. Do not recommend.

Only taking off 1-star because they often have children working at the counters during weekends.

Once you get over the fact that they charge 1.08 for tape, I have never experienced any issues. Service was fine, usually takes about 5 minutes in and out. When I turned in my AT&T stuff it was in and out no issues what so ever. Only thing I dislike about this location is the parking. It sucks. But even after coming here for years I’ve never had any issue shipping, notary or with returns.

Literally the worst UPS store on the planet. I went into return a few items to Amazon and the girl behind the counter acted like I was bothering her and told me to use the machine where I could scan the code... I attempted to do so and look for a bag to put my item in and she pointed at a giant roll of bags and said you can use those. She instructed me to use a 5-ft by 5 ft bag for a 1-in box basically and then finally said oh you can use smaller bags they're under the counter and pointed... But of course there were no bags under the counter and again she seemed like I was bothering her... Less than zero customer service here... I won't be back.

They charged me $1 plus sales tax to do an Amazon return. They had a kiosk but I didn’t use any of their supplies. They said it was for tape. Maybe I don’t understand the nuances of shipping expenses but I assume the Amazon contract with UPS franchise stores compensates them enough they don’t have to charge me for taping the original blue and white Amazon envelope closed. So lesson learned if you want to drop your stuff here is tape that stuff closed and apply the label yourself. I was tempted to debate it but I wasn’t sure they’d charge me for occupying their retail space and really my time was worth the buck o eight. I’m also enjoying the catharsis of leaving a review for what I consider a poor retail experience for what really is low hanging fruit. Obsessing over the Pennies worth of tape means when I got to go out of pocket for UPS store service I won’t be doing it here. Which is a shame since this one is less than a minute from our house. One star for shamelessness, one bonus star for doing it so brazenly.Update, I just read other reviews after I posted mine. This franchise is proud to charge that buck for “six pieces of tape” hahaha. Mind you I brought in the blue plastic Amazon envelope that is factory sealed on most sides except the top. Maybe I got six overlapping pieces for the primary opening. They really take the literal meaning of not “customer packed” here.I read some of the owner replies, they come off snarky and passive aggressive so I don’t think they really even care about service or how their staff treats its patrons.

Shut the entire UPS down! They are inefficient, they lost my package with car parts worth over $500 dollars.

The customer service at this location is absolutely awful. The woman behind the counter has been rude to me and my husband multiple times for simply doing normal things that the UPS store is meant for - like Amazon returns. It seems as if we are somehow inconveniencing the staff for simply existing. I really wish that I could use FedEx or other companies for returns, but unfortunately UPS seems to have all of the major contracts with Amazon and others. Today, we noticed that they have set up a self-serve kiosk for Amazon returns, which is completely chaotic. It easily took us double the amount of time to figure it out vs. just having the staff help us. There was a different woman there (maybe a supervisor?) who was equally rude and condescending. Whoever owns this location needs to fix this issue. Based on the other reviews, it definitely seems like we're not the only ones experiencing this behavior.

I wish I had read the other reviews. TAPE YOUR BOX BEFORE YOU COME if you're making amazon returns.I had a print job that was supposed to be ready for pickup by 11AM. I came in around 4PM and its not ready, they can't find it, I have to wait for them to print it there for me and even though the UPS interface allows for you to select 80lbs cardstock paper for QuickPrints they still printed it on regular 28lbs laser paper!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR PRINTING.The guy had a very nice attitude throughout, but I didn't get what I needed at this store.

This location closes at 6:30pmI was at the door at 6:21 pm along with lots of other customers and a male and female worker waved us all off that they were closed. We pointed at our watches and they just ignored us. Very poor customer service.

Unfortunately I have given this establishment many chances and it has never improved. The women who work there have always been really rude. And they charge if you want to send a letter via US Post. I asked the owner or the UPS store on Lemmon if this is a common practice. He said absolutely not and that is really poor business practice. I will never use this place again sadly.

Sadly, I'm starting to wonder if apathy is a job requirement at this UPS Store. This location is convenient for me, but I've never had a good customer service experience here.

Stopped into today needing a notary signature on a doc. I phoned ahead of time to check on price. $6 per stamp. A man walked in before me by 3 steps, he went straight to a rental postal box and had just turned the key to open it as I passed him walking another 6 feet to the counter. The attendant was doing something with a plastic wrap behind the counter. I said HELLO, they acknowledge me. I said " I need a notary signature". I heard an "ugh". The attendant said, OK..just a minute as he put down the plastic he was handling. The attendant moved closer to the counter and closer to the man that was walking up. At that time the man who had been at his postal box walked around the tall mailbox wall so the attendant could see him, this is the 1st. time the man spoke to the attendant. The attendant said something back to the guy, grabbed a slip of printed out paper out of his hands with a large printed number on it and proceed to go into a back room for a few minutes rummaging thru boxes and packages.. until coming out with a package for the guy. Who took it and was on his way. I confronted the attendant, asking why his service request was done before mine since I had already asked and was 1st to communicate with him what I needed. By over a few minutes, I asked why did he make me wait, while taking care of the other guy? He said, the other guy was there 1st, I said he was in the door first but stopped at his postal box to retrieve his mail. i had been the first to the counter and first to request a service. He then said, well it didn't take long to look for his package. I said, if you had asked me before hand if I could wait while you service your "preferred customer before me" that would have been the time to ask. If I had the time to wait around. Was it because he was Mexican, and the attendant was also Latin? And I am not, certainly the preferred customer his time was more important than mine was. Taking care of a "regular customer before other customers that were waiting and were 1st in line and had requested service before them". STINKS!! WHICH BRINGS ME TO THE NEXT ISSUE,, this place has always stunk, and they treat "not postal box renters" as 2nd class citizens that can wait as long as they have to. They often take a very long time to even acknowledge your presence when you enter. I have used this UPS location for over 30 yrs. The customer service has always been just a slight bit off. Like their doing you a supreme favor. The workers act like it's a pain to help you, rarely are friendly and often help their regular (postal box renters) before they help anyone else. Very odd, unfair and not nice people. I try to avoid this location, parking is a nightmare and the management offers no responsibility or customer service help just attitude when you discuss issues. AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!
