This place is a true mom and pop shop. Kevin and Lauren are great people, and they actually show interest and gratitude in you when you come to their store. They are very knowledgeable about their craft, and it shows in the products they choose to offer as well as the advice they give. The store is awesome, it’s in a great location, and it has everything your pet could ever need. I live a few hours away but I’ll always make a stop by when I’m in the area. Great job guys!!

Truly a wonderful experience. Lauren is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on which treats to choose for my dogs. They loved the dried duck heads.The other owner Kevin has a great giggle-so make sure to tell him your favorite dad joke for him to save up for his son.

Even though the owners’ son entered the college football transfer portal and left my favorite university, I can’t help but give Uptown Pup my strongest recommendation. Kevin and Lauren are amazing. They always know just what treats I should buy for my labradoodle, Scruffy, whom I named after the janitor in Futurama.

Hands down THE BEST pet store in the metroplex!! Uptown Pup has it all and so many goodies for your fur babies - Toys, treats, bandanas & merch from local small businesses, and most importantly food that is healthy for your pups (and cats) that you can feel confident in feeding them. Owners Lauren & Kevin are trained in pet nutrition and are SO knowledgeable about the products they offer and what to feed your animals to keep them healthy and happy. I cannot say enough great things about them; but one thing is abundantly clear - They CARE about providing pet owners and their animals knowledge and products that build a healthy lifestyle. Once you shop with them, you’ll never go back to chain pet stores. Their hearts and compassion shine from the moment you walk into Uptown Pup!

What a delight this shop is ! I arrived from France with my dog recently and I was able to give her a nice bath and hair dry in the shop, they have several shower stations, at the right height for those of us with potential back problems. It’s very clean, and they have a choice of three nice quality hypoallergenic shampoos, included in the price of the shower. Prices are reasonable. I’ll be back for sure.

Really can’t say more good things about that “ all for your best furry tails” store. It has all that you would need for your pet and more like bath services with all organic, non-allergic shampoos, cranberry facial treatments and apple cologne :)))???♀️?. Happy Pup Happy Mom& Dad!

So glad I found this place! Lauren helped me find the right raw food for my pugs and find the right mix of toppers, treats and activities to keep them healthy and busy. If I ever have a question about something related to my pups, I know I can trust both Lauren & Kevin to help me out without feeling like they’re trying to get me to buy more!

First time here today. This was the best dog washing experience ever! Tango had the standard $10 Tuesday wash. The wash came with all the needed supplies, so I didn't have to bring anything besides my dog.

LOVE this cute little dog store right in the heart of State Thomas/Uptown. This is the must stop place for all your dog treats and specialty foods/goods. My favorite tradition is the past 3 years I’ve gone to get my dog’s birthday treats from here (photo’d below). There’s tons of fun birthday and regular treats to choose from and when I’m in the area I try to pop by and get my dog a treat every now and then. They also do a really good job of keeping you informed if their hours are changed for holidays or other reasons. I always like to check their social media (instagram) to make sure they are open before I go! They also offer dog washing stations and a dog yard membership as well which is really cool.Pro tip for parking: The store is right next to White Rhino Coffee and there’s some street parking out front but not a lot so I normally park down the street by Griggs Park and walk the 1 block over (easy in and easy out)

These guys are the absolute best pet store ever! They have local brands and sell great stuff. My dogs used one of the recommendations and his coat has always looked shiny and healthy. He also doesn’t have a ton of allergies like most pets. Especially during allergy season. They also have a great selection of treats, toys and types of food (frozen, raw, kibble, canned). As for the staff they’re so sweet and truly happy to help every time.
