I purchased $8,000 worth of bedroom furniture for it to arrive damaged. They promised to come and repair it and never showed up as originally scheduled. When I called to see when someone would be out to repair it I was dealt in an extremely disrespectful manor. Customer service is nonexistent within this place of business. I'm extremely disappointed and will take my business elsewhere.

I'm sad that the new one does not have any popcorn : ( If you want to look for furniture, go here. But if you want the popcorn, go to the other locations.Bathrooms are very clean, I used the second floor bathrooms for extra privacy.

I purchased two sofas and ottomans from Weirs recently. My sales person was Dennis Weaver, and he was wonderful. His professionalism, attention to detail, and knowledge of the products was above and beyond. I highly recommend that you ask for him next time you may be shopping at Weir's on Travis Street! Big thanks to Dennis!

One word to describe the new store. GRAY. Sofas, walls, floors. Very monochromatic with little color or charm. A customer since 1975, but it no longer works for me. I hope all goes well for the business.

I've been a Weir's customer for 25+ years -- so long that my favorite salesperson retired! Great customer experience, knowledgeable salespeople, and the delivery/service teams are wonderful. I've been treated with respect and kindness each time, whether via phone or in person. Lately, I've noticed that when I enter the store -- specifically the one in Plano -- I start coughing and my throat gets scratchy. The off-gassing from fabrics and other materials is probably the culprit, but people look at me as if I have COVID. I don't leisurely stroll through the store anymore, and that's disappointing. There are so many unusual pieces of decor to browse but until there is better ventilation I won't be wandering the aisles like I used to do. I hope this is just a short-term problem and wearing a mask helps a little, so I won't stay away but my visits will be less frequent. NOTE: My comments pertain only to the Plano location.

My wife and I were getting one last piece of furniture (dresser/tv stand) out of our daughter's apartment on Bookhout Street this morning and we were struggling to get it into the back of our truck. I looked up and saw a Weir's truck pulling up in front of us. I thought, oh they are here to make a delivery. The delivery men hopped out and headed our way. I jokingly said "Oh just in time to help!" One jumped in the back of my truck and the other lifted the furniture into the back and then asked if there was anything else. We were blown away! I didn't get their names but I will tell you that they were the most professional guys that we have ever met. Most people would have cruised right on by and never given a second thought to helping. They got back in their truck and off they went. Classy guys and a classy organization! In the future I will make it a point to shop at Weir's!!!

When you used to buy furniture from weirs, you knew it would last. The quality of product and delivery is now sub par. You are better off going to Rooms to Go or Nebraska furniture mart than Weir's.

From the sales staff to the delivery staff, Weir's treats me as if I were a privileged customer. Thanks to the company for choosing such fine people to help me make my home lovely and comfortable. The sale was truly a storewide opportunity to get quality furniture for very affordable costs.

Bought a Serta Kingsize mattress the Worst buy I have ever made. I called to complain about the mattress sinking in on both sides & they sent an inspector to look at mattress. They admitted that the Mattress was defective, so my wife & I decided to give them a chance to make it right. They delivered another Mattress & told us that the original mattress was bad due to them having it in the warehouse standing upright. Well the New mattress they delivered to replace the original one turned out to be just as Bad within a short period of time. We are Very dissatisfied with this Serta Mattress they sell...Never again. We are Done with Both of these Companies Buyer BEWARE !

I initially loved Weirs... Family owned, small business with Christian values and high quality furniture? Sign me up! That is... Until I fell for their highly dishonest warranty scam. I bought and trusted this warranty strictly based on their business values and my parents' positive history with their service. They didn't give me a copy of the warranty, just a brochure about it and a receipt for the warranty. 1 Year later I have a wine stain that I need addressed, and the warranty company (GBS Enterprises) is a total scam. I was finally provided the contract that Weir's neglected to provide me upon purchase, and there are infinite loopholes for not replacing or repairing your warranted item. Will be dumping my couch and never stepping foot in this store again.

Still waiting on the stuff i bought, so this review is not about the product. But i wanna give them 5 stars for their service. Jim Lockhart was patient and showed me around for all the furnitures i was looking for. Furniture collection looked great. I placed an order for two items. After a day, i called Jim and asked him to remove one item from my order. Most furniture stores would throw tantrums here, but he was like "Sure no problem". Overall good experience. Will visit there next weekend again to shop some more.

Awful. Took almost an hour to buy a simple little bowl. They wanted my Drivers License and phone number. I said I don't want you to have my phone because I don't want you calling. They said they have to have it for security. Ridiculous. Then, instead of putting the small bowl in a bag and letting me go, they made me cross to the other side of the store and wait for 15 minutes while they put it in a box, taped it up and bagged it. Again, ridiculous. All the while waiting and being told to have a blessed day and blessings to you today. I mean, I believe in god but don't shove it down my throat. I then noticed that the name jesus is plastered all over the store. Scary. Sending the bowl back and buying the same bowl online for $15 less!
