Valley House is a hidden gem. We lived in the area for some 20 years before I stumbled across it on Google and went to take a look. The sculpture garden is amazing both for the art but also the landscaping which is always meticulously groomed. They have art exhibits inside of both local and other up and coming artists. We are grateful to the owners of this fabulous property for making it available to the public. Entrance is free.

This is the best sculpture garden I have ever visited. The landscape is so beautiful and peaceful. So relaxing. Loved the trails. The place was maintained very well. The gallery was very surprising. So many talented local artists! Surprised this was free to the public. Not to mention that the crowds were very small. Loved this place. Highly recommend!

Came by to write a report on an art exhibit for my art class and I ended up totally forgetting about it as I walked around this beautiful garden of sculptures! I was expecting to have been charged for an entrance fee but when I went inside the gallery, a nice guy was setting up some paintings for a gallery event and told me I can sign-in if I wanted to just to let them know I was there. Very pleasant staff and enjoyed my relaxing time here. Definitely recommend stopping buy this hidden gem! :)

A soothing and wonderful sculpture garden with a small lake. The canopy of verdant trees washes away stress. The arts are beautiful, unique and amazing. The gallery displays inspired arts of all sorts. It’s also home to D. Bollard’s Inspired Series. One of my favorite places.

The Vogals created this nihilist art exhibit and a garden for the statues. There is no cost to enjoy this exhibit. A cluster of figures in the front has provocative signs of the "We all bleed the same color" ilk. Yard signs are that bitter pill we must swallow. Who wants to be lectured by a child? There is a nice air-conditioned house that has nihilist paintings and, (oddly) a couple of very good realism paintings on the floor leaning against the wall. The garden is very peaceful and interesting with a good selection of well maintained Texas flora. Benches along the trail make for a nice pause in the walk to enjoy the scenes. There are also some nice tables and chairs about for a group of 4 if you want to bring your lunch or playing cards. Faceless statues and some broken abstracts of people are about the grounds. This is a great place to read a book. I suggest Ivan Turgenev's book Fathers and Sons. It is the story of a son who brings home his school chum from Moscow to meet his parents who live a simple life in the country with simple Russian values. The son is mesmerized by the seeming brilliance of his nihilist friend who confides about a conversation he had with an older woman: "'Of course, you can't understand me; we belong,' I said, 'to two different generations.' She was dreadfully offended, while I thought, 'There's no help for it. It's a bitter pill, but she has to swallow it.' You see, now, our turn has come, and our successors can say to us, 'You are not of our generation; swallow your pill.'"

Hidden gem. Prettiest garden in Dallas. A variety of sculpture scattered among shaded trails and ponds. Interesting rotation of artists in the gallery.

This gallery is super underrated! The garden outside was absolutely beautiful and stunning. My friend and I we're the only ones there. Perfect for a picnic. Very peaceful environment. Loved the BLM sculptures.

Absolutely blown away by this place. The indoor art gallery is incredible and the outdoor gallery + the beauty of nature and the various trees, plants, flowers, shrubs set a great relaxing atmosphere to get away for a few hours. The outdoor area is a great spot to just hangout and enjoy nature/ have a picnic (not sure what the policy on bringing food/ eating is).Be respectful as the family lives in the house onsite!
