October 2024 by Corporate Shopper REVIEW Certified Guide (K Loco TOP Reviewer)
This thrift store has been in Pleasant Grove off Buckner for decades. They have a pretty big selection but are a bit pricey for being a " thrift store". I have came across a lot of items, however that are no longer sold or I was able to put on the webs #1 Auction site and sell a $3 dollar item for $125 that worked perfectly!! I love going through their abundance of T- Shirts and other clothing to resell on popular sites now that sell " Vintage" items. They have a good selection of Nike Air Force, Dunks, and Jordan's, both retros and reproduced. Ofcourse you need knowledge on name brand items so that you are not going to resell a replica( mostly Jordan's & purses I've came across. I have found authentic retro Jordan's, even found the exact color/ style I bought with my own money when I was in the 7th grade! They were $60...at a thrift store, but I got them for memorabilia reasons. I will leave another review after I get some furniture this week.

Am I just high or are the prices like insanely high?!? They have some cool stuff in housewares but I think this place is confusing itself for a high end antique store. Never again.

If you can get passed the mess you’ll notice they have a variety of options for a small amount! I couldn’t believe all the designer brands they had !

I genuinely enjoy this thrift store. It’s truly all about perspective and you’re bound to find treasure if you have the patience- because this place will test you.
It is chaotic. I have seen all sorts of things on the floor in a vast range of prices. Some things are admittedly questionable. But despite the chaotic arrangement the staff is really on the floor working nonstop! They’re putting stuff out all the time and going through and trying to regain some form of organization on the floor. It really comes down to customers lack of etiquette! I have seen people leaving piles of clothes behind on random sofas, dropping clothes from hangers and leaving it on the floor, even breaking stuff and walking away. It makes it impossible and exhausting for the staff to keep up.
In terms of prices- yes it gets kind of wild. Some furniture and decor is priced like “vintage/antique prices” which was initially surprising because this is a thrift store. However, I find that most of the clothes here is super affordable and there is bountiful of choice. Though I enjoy looking through all the inventory and have found great decor, bricabrac, furniture on the floor for great deals - I mainly shop here for clothing.

Been going here for over 10 years and have always been satisfied. Only complaints are that the game consoles are too overpriced.

The white old dude who I would presume is the manager based off his very unprofessional catty attitude seems to be disgustingly racist. I tried to buy two sets of plates that were marked “set for $5” on both of them, he didn’t even let me place them on the counter before he was rudely remarking that those weren’t the prices for the plates. At first it seemed like it was just a misunderstanding but he continually kept restating that’s not “their prices” almost insinuating that me along with the other person had put stickers on the plates to price them that way. We told him to go look at the other plates that were priced the same way on the shelf, which to he completely changed the narrative saying that it must be a new employee pricing them wrong and refused to go look at the prices. It’s really sad to have someone so dishonest running a business like this especially when he thinks he’s running a commercial store with commercial prices instead of…. a thrift store…

Manager is rude, lies about prices that are posted on items just to make some dumb excuse to raise the price. Does alot of snickering like he has something to say. Prices are ridiculous.
