Been to this place years ago to wash my own dog.
But last week I decided to take my Yorkies to get groomed , they have a regular groomer , just wanted to try someone different. Shame on me.
My dog came back with a burn or irritation mark, I took before and after pictures cause I was excited to see the transformation. So I have proof the burn wasn’t there before drop off. I ended up at the vet after my dog wouldn’t eat, when I reached out to her she total denied it was them. It’s not like I expected her to say yeah they’re dirty. Clippers did it or yeah it was a burn that may got infected. She offered cream she had and that made it worse. I think the part that gets me the most , Just say it was there before we got there why would they cut it or why wouldn’t they pointed out to me? Never again $130 groomer ,$136 vet bill .. most important my bobby with antibiotics and steroids will be fine, but we will never go there again the guy, the groomer very nice guy the lady not so much. She’s rude over the phone. Before and after pics, this is what kind of groomer yall have , Doesn’t have the decency to talk about it she blocked me!

If you have an Australian shepherd this is the groomer for you! She did a great job and my senior (sometimes ausshole) loves her.

I called to ask info on grooming for my dog and an older lady answer the phone first of all very rude it’s my first time I’m taking my dog for a profesional grooming and she wasn’t trying to hear demeaning why it’s his first time being professionally groomed even tho I told her I give him his bath do everything myself I just wanted this time to be done right, she seems like she had a problem with that asking so many questions on why this why that, I was recommended to this location and with this experience I had with that rude lady yeah I am not recommending this place at all.

For the last two years or so this has been the only place I trusted bringing my three dogs to for self service baths and nail trims. All three of my dogs are rescue and skittish so this was the only place they were comfortable coming into, let alone get their nails trimmed. They have had very bad experiences with their nails trimmed wrong at other groomers. My friend found this place first and like myself would usually see a young lady or young man working not the owner. My friend stopped coming first due to the manner the owner spoke to him while giving him some advice for his dog. I had no problem with her or the staff and continued coming. 2 months ago I was told you now had to buy 4 or 5 baths up front and the next was free which I understood and the young man allowed me to give my dog her bath and we agreed the next time I came I would pay for that membership. I always come at 9 when they open so that it’s not so busy with other dogs. Today I arrived with two of my dogs and I was “greeted” by the owner who looked me up and down and told me self service is now after 10am. I’m not sure if she’s having a bad day or maybe I’m not white enough or dressed nice enough but if she wants to tailor her services to a certain demographic she should just say so instead of treating people differently and changing her hours last minute.

Edit: The owners are probably mixing me up with a different client... My dog has never, ever been shaved down!!! Not even by his last groomer. I take my dog to the groomers every 4-6 weeks, so his matting is never severe. It was even 4 weeks apart from his first appointment to his second. When I dropped my dog off, I just said do the same thing, which is just sanitary trim and clean up his coat! Never did I say the last trim was perfect. Also they never mentioned it being really busy but I would've assumed so because it was thanksgiving week! It was a very quick drop off, but regardless I just wanted to share my experience. Not sure what was up with this place! I took my pom here twice due to the close proximity of my home. But each visit, my dog's haircut came out very low effort. The first visit was ok. My pom came home very soft and fluffy, but I notice they rounded out his ears. Mind you, not all groomers do this and I don't mind if they do, but I don't ever request it. It's the style of the specific groomer and how they perceive a pom should be trimmed, but it just came out lopsided and crooked. This was not a deal breaker though!! Fur grows back but it just showed low effort and no attention to detail. I decided to give them another try, but this time was what did it for me. I dropped off my dog at 8am and he wasn't done until 3pm! They had him for 7 hours doing who knows what. When I came to pick him up, the lady was kinda passive aggressive. I didn't put a tip on my card so she has the audacity to ask if I was going to pay the tip in cash. I normally tip the groomers, but I felt uncomfortable with my dog being there for so long. I even called around 11am and all she told me was "When he's done, we'll text you." When I got him, he was shaking so bad. He was noticeably very stressed out! Upon taking him home, I saw that they shaved his entire belly!!!!! So they had him for 7 hours, rushed his "sanitary trim" by shaving his whole belly. It's been two months now and his belly fur is almost fully grown back. This is just my experience and I know other people could have a better experience, but I won't be back. It's unfortunate because they were so close to my home.

Vhea is the absolute best. I was referred to her by a close friend that is familiar with my pet. I have a 11 yr old pit mix that needed to get groomed. He is especially particular about who clips his nails. He didn't even flinch or resist. Her energy is calm, caring and loving towards animals & it shows. I will return. Parking: Limited parking.. but who needs it if you're doing drop offs. Staff: super friendly and the best!

I will NOT promote and/or return to Vhea's Laundromutt after being treated unprofessionally and rudely by the owner. She accused me of not knowing how my dog felt "uncomfortable" on his last visit for a nail trimming that was done by a young male. She proceeded to yank my dog up like a sack of potatoes and quickly took him to the back to trim his nails. When she returned, she said "it makes no difference who trims his nails, he is uncomfortable". As a rescue dog, sudden movements scare him; therefore, I'm fairly certain that he was uncomfortable with her, too, because she treated him poorly as she took him to the back. Someone who supposedly supports rescues should know better! She is a poor example of customer service that should always be the #1 priority of any service business! Don't care if she was having a bad day or not, this is unacceptable behavior and I will not tolerate it!

What a fun hidden gem! Hubby and I took our 86lb. American bully and enjoyed doing the self wash. Newbies, so the staff was super friendly and thorough with explaining the products. We will definitely be back.
