Well… it was pho and spring rolls. The bare bones quality was enough to satisfy a craving but poor enough to disappoint. The spring rolls came with meat, lettuce and noodles only, losing the complexity that you might find in another choice that uses mint, carrots, etc, the fixings. Surprisingly, my favorite part of the whole experience was their peanut sauce which had more chili paste than you normally get. The beef pho broth was quite bland, in addition to said beef in the broth. I wasn’t piling on the hoisin and sriracha but it definitely needed some. For the high price point, your money is much better spent at another Vietnamese restaurant 3 or 4 blocks north of here. Sorry to spread negativity but I was a little let down :(

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Such a good variety of quality food with large portions. The staff is consistent and attentive. They have beer and wine as well as other non alcoholic drinks to choose from. Vegetarian, meat and gluten free options available to choose from as well.

We eat chicken pho soup and it was delicious. I really recomend this small place to eat. Looks Kind of dark inside the building but it was quiet and the service was good. Im from Houston but when im come Back to Dallas im going to eat here again.

Authentic Vietnamese food. Didn’t seem very corporate nor lazy affair. Got the eggrolls but it was rice paper, my favorite way to fry them. Good for a craving. Best off driving to Richardson but love the locality.

The hot and sour soup w/ chicken is THEE best winter soup for a cold. I just brought it to a friend with Covid and she raved. It’s thee best even if you don’t have a cold or Covid. Sweet people too.

I think this is probably some of the best pho you can get near downtown. Super solid and good portion sizes. The broth was good as well.

First impression of the spring rolls, is that they are tiny and lacking. They are missing bean sprouts, carrots, mint or basil, cucumber. They only include meat, lettuce and noodles. The peanut sauce is thin and tastes like peanut butter chicken broth and sweet Chilli sauce. They gave the option to pick three meats when ordering. I chose tendon, beef, and eye round. My girl ordered chicken. She got 5 pieces of chicken while I got 10. If I'm only asking for one meat, please make sure I'm getting the same amount of meat as if I ordered three different meats, specially because the price doesn't change. And we also ordered XL PORTIONS. The broth is okay, tastes like a basic bone broth. Cannot taste ginger, star anise, or any other herbs or traditional spices.

Our family always feels at home whenever we come by! Service is always top notch. Food is always served fast and is flavorful. We add chili oil / paste / hoisin / Sriracha hot sauce. Portions are always good. We also usually get boba smoothies. All in all, great spot.

Ordered to-go food from here. Pretty standard Vietnamese food. Pho was good, vermicelli bowl with pork was above average. A good, convenient local spot.

Over the years there has been a slow decline here. Since the pandemic, it's just gotten worse and worse. I used to be able to overlook the ancient, dark, dirty looking dining area, the smelly bathrooms, and the sketchy service, because the food was ok and the pork egg rolls were the best in Dallas. I can now report that neither of those is true. We asked for 2 orders of the rolls (4 of them) and they were burned and super greasy...almost as if they were refried. The server brought us 2 new orders and same thing, again. When I say burned I'm not exaggerating. Unbelievable. The pho and vermicelli could not make up for the other disaster and the almost nonexistent service. Too bad. Guess I'll have to go to Houston for authentic Vietnamese.

Cons: I like my Vietnamese eggrolls made with rice paper (as pictured in other yelp reviews for this place), and so I purposely looked for a Vietnamese restaurant near my hotel that served those kind of eggrolls. I ordered eight eggrolls, and when I got them they were made of wonton wrapper I bit into one and then I threw the rest in the trash. Pros: it was easy to find. There were parking spots available in the front. And when I ordered my food to go, it only took 10 minutes.

I have gotten sick twice. There was a green sheen on some of the raw meat. I won't be back.

I remember my uncle used to work here, and he always brought leftovers. From my fondest memories, this place was always great in food quality and service. It’s maintained its hole-in-the-wall, hidden restaurant gem-like character that I always remembered. I’m glad to see it’s still around.
