I have gone to three different Walgreens in my area. All three have a horrible habit of picking up the phone without answering or so much as greeting and asking the caller to hold. Recently the Walgreens at 5201 Belt Line Rd in Dallas did this to me for 20 minutes before what turned out to be the pharmacy operations manager finally answered. I let him know my issue and he, as he should, agreed that they should have at least greeted the person the put on hold. A run down: pharmacy Picked up the phone > never once greeted or spoke to me > proceeded to pickup every time the hold would ring back to them > again without speaking put me on hold again. HORRIBLE business practices. And the fact the the location at 7930 Belt Line rd and 11700 Preston rd both do the same speaks volumes to your completely asinine business manners. After years of this, I am fed up. How can the pharmacy have been busy for 20 straight minutes without the courtesy of actually speaking with someone? It was just before 4 PM so I know it wasn’t rush hour. I will take our families business elsewhere and not take the horrible customer service abuse you dish out.

Waited 45 min in the drive thru line for them to say they don’t take ApplePay. I asked if I could hand her my phone and she said no because her register doesn’t take it. I went around and parked and went inside only to find the register that took ApplePay was quite literally 3.5ft behind her. Easily could have been done. Based on the reviews, looks like they can’t get a handle on whatever it is causing the extreme wait times, and on top of it they’re not apologetic at all

This website said Pharmacy closes at 9pm on Monday. I went to pick up my medicine at 8:17pm and the Pharmacy was dark. There was a sign at the drive thru window that said no Pharmacist on duty. What's up with that???

Spoke with my provider about getting a new prescription, he said it would be ready in a few hours. That was 2 days ago, and it just got delayed again. If this is a capacity problem then they need to tell us so we can go somewhere that won’t hold necessary medication hostage.

I gave this Walgreens one star because I had to in order to write this review. I went in today for the first time after work just to buy two items. As if I were a thief I was followed around despite wearing my work uniform. Furthermore, I was experiencing trouble with the check out machine and the Caucasian clerk asked if I spoke English. I am Hispanic and was born and raised in Dallas so I automatically recognized the racial profiling. Therefore, I responded ethically in perfect English “Yes, sir. English is my only language.” After this experience I think I’ll stick to the Walgreens by my house where customers service is more admirable.

I used to pick up my prescriptions at the Walmart across the street but my health insurance provider says that I either have to pick up at Walgreens or have them delivered by mail. Mail isn't an option because my area post office is terrible about losing packages. So, I have no choice but to use Walgreens. This Walgreens is atrocious. Always delays. Always unable to find my prescriptions. Always issues with either my insurance or primary care provider. It's never Walgreens fault. Usually takes three people looking and an act of God to find my prescriptions. As I'm typing this review, three other people are having problems with their orders. If you have a choice, avoid Walgreens.

Do not use this location for your pharmacy needs. They are disorganized and each time I go there is an issue with needing to pick up the medication. Either the opened a new profile, changes the address to placed I don't live at, and you will wait a minimum of 30 minutes in line with only 1 person in front of you. I was in the middle of being checked out with my perceptions and when I went to pay the technician walked off for about 10 minutes and then returned to finish the transaction.

Please use another location if you can! Very poor customer service in the pharmacy! Instead of talking to you, they place you on a forever hold or just hang up in your face! They don’t take accountability for making mistakes! It’s not always the provider’s fault when a medication is not dispensed in a timely manner! It’s too convenient to blame it on “the medicine is on back order” or “your provider didn’t send it”! So tired of the excuses! Have better customer service and try apologizing when you mess up!
