The hiring process can feel a bit drawn out and overwhelming, however the staff and safety team at the Dallas terminal do their best at making it a more enjoyable and fun learning experience.
There are several job opportunities with Werner, just ask. Safety first!

By far the best terminal I’ve been too they have their own hotel and the showers / gym etc is a separate building from the main office so it’s pretty big . Just didn’t like how when me and my bf first started out together they didn’t wanna give us the peterbilt that we requested bc we would be otr and it had the biggest sleeper. They kept trying to get us in an international claimed that’s all they had, but we turned it down so they finally gave us a pretty decent freightliner a 2022 I think.. which doesn’t ride as smooth but igs its better than a international.

I’m ready to pull my hair out. I have recently finished everything Werner Enterprises and they asked what kind of truck did I want & specifically since I was asked I said either a KW or a Peterbuilt because; well, if you know you know her response with a snarky giggle was we have a bunch of International’s which I may have just started truck driving well I haven’t started anything, but most people know those trucks are crap and if you’re lucky to get a good one, you best hold onto it I went with my gut feeling so glad I did cause the ones they have are crappy. 2 days later after turning them down she tells me I have a freightliner OK so I go and look at it looks decent but now it’s been one issue after the other. I get it back yesterday and the ABS malfunction light came on and there’s bulges in the tire. Forgot to mention it’s a 2023 freightliner and the trainer that went and looked over the truck with me said that whoever had it before me must’ve hit a tree or a couple of things and he couldn’t believe they even put or tried to put me in that. Then Had to have couple of things replaced DOT regulated while waiting on freightliner to fix it, still sitting here no paycheck not even broke down pay. One specific lady in fleet said we had a KW a second ago, but oh sorry it’s gone so she’s dangling it in my face so I looked at the international yesterday. It looks like it broke down in 1954 & was nasty inside & looked like it would fall apart inside & you only get newer trucks if you’re teaming or training spoke to the terminal manager, he’ll be able to help compensate something next week, but until then If I go out I don’t eat for a week. TM definitely agreed that she needs to quit trying to give out trucks that are not ready, but claiming they’re ready. I’m about ready to walk away and find another job unfortunately no experience is not helping.

It’s been a rough few weeks… needless to say. I came in and Ms Monique guia was absolutely amazing! Very sweet and professional! She helped me out with everything I needed. Didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had. She definitely deserves any type of raise/promotion coming her way. Wish there were more employees like her!

Idk why this driver is playing grim reaper in this type of weather we both are in goverened trucks. This driver is brake checking me, speeding up then slowing down instead of just letting me pass him. i-40 4:41pm April/4/2025

Located in south east Dallas/Lancaster area. 20mins to get to downtown. Large terminal but it’s pretty out dated. Staff is a mixed bag, some are cool others have an attitude. Showers don’t have any tile it’s just dry wall so probably mold behind there. Motel is furthest from all the buildings so be prepared to walk and it’s old as well but fine for a few place to rest. Orientation food wasn’t bad honestly. Good instructors
