If SALES are not what they should be...IT's NOT THE ECONOMY. It's poorly trained people in the store. They give you wrong info and really do not have a clue. Total ignorance. I want to separate them from the seafood counter... they are very helpful.

This is one of the older Tom thumbs in the area. Well it is still a pretty decently equipped grocery store it does not quite have the selection that some of their Superstores have in them. It is basically in my opinion an extra large convenience store.

This is what I am tired of. I am tired of purchasing expired, stinky, no good products from this location. This morning, the oikos yogurt was on sale. Still within the expiration date, but taste weird. A few months back, I purchased chicken thighs. Brought them home and they were sour and bad. Still within the expiration date. I took it back and was given more meat from the meat department. His explanation was, customers pick up meat, put it back in the wrong section, then employees don't get to return it to the freezer section until end of day. A couple of weeks before that, my husband purchased meat that was bad and had to get a refund. Still within the expiration date. When u walk into the store, the meat department smell bitch slaps you in the face. Just Stanky. I sometimes feel they don't have everything the average grocery store has. On a positive note, the staff are ALWAYS friendly and their are rarely long lines for checkout. The other sections of the store appear to be clean. This is the closest grocery store to my house but I am considering driving to Kroger .

I do not recommend using this pharmacy. The two women working there are very rude. My mother who I just took to get dental work done, went there afterwards to pick up her prescription. She wasn't feeling well and went in a few times to see if her prescription was ready because she felt very light headed and dizzy and wanted to go home to lay down as soon as possible. The last time she went in one of the pharmacists rolled her eyes at her, and when my mother pointed it out to the other pharmacist who is the manager she was so rude to her. My mother told her she had been coming there a long time and never was treated so poorly. The manager told her that they were the only ones there and that she had to deal with it or go find another pharmacy. In the end she also told my mom if she knew anyone that wanted to work at their pharmacy feel free to let them know, but until then she would have to deal with the both of them. I understand that it is not always easy to deal with customers, but as someone who has been in those shoes before I would never treat a customer that way as there are just better ways to handle situations like that. So disappointed, and with plenty of other grocery stores to choose from we will gladly spend our money where we are treated respectfully.

Have stopped in here several times as it was closest to our temporary housing. Definitely not a bargain place or a store with the most selection, but clean and great for a quick shop or to pick up last minute needs, if nothing else is close. Still getting to know the area but would steer clear from here if doing any heavy/full cart shopping. $$$$

Laquita was working the register and never said a word to me the whole time I checked out. I had to bag my groceries while she talked on the phone the whole time loudly and then shoved the receipt in my hand never making eye contact. Just kind of frustrating. Will make the drive a little further down the road from here on out to spend my cash

I've lived beside this TT for 8 years. Kudos to the current manager who has improved it quite a bit. There seems to be more help on the registers at peak times and the aisles are cleaner and better stocked than they were in the past. Employee friendliness has also improved, for the most part. The only reason it gets dinged a star is not due to the current store management, it's because it's obvious TT corporate does not deem this store worthy of more than minor attention and upgrades. The store is wedged between low and high income housing and is neglected in comparison to TT stores in higher income only areas. Last year they upgraded some of the flooring and they recently put in some self-check out lanes, which are great. But, as the largest anchor store in the strip mall, this store could REALLY up the game for this area by continuing to make improvements to the store and the shopping experience. My neighbors and I all run in for a few things, but big shopping goes to the store on NW Hwy or Preston and Royal because this store just doesn't feel inviting for serious shopping. Having said all that, I still think the management over the last year or so has made substantial improvements. I just think corporate should realize they are sitting on a store than could make twice as much if they made the effort.

Store #2544 Most of the time my service is adequate and on a rare occasion I will have a nice cashier or employee interact with me. This evening took the cake. My mother has asthma and trouble breathing so this evening I went with her to the store. We approached the checkout where there were no other costumers but two young employees chatting. As we came up they dispersed and we were met with eye rolls and dead stares. Cindy, very curtly told my mother to put everything on the counter so she could ring it up. My mom, struggling to breathe started doing it. I told her to step to the side so I could do it. If you are someone who struggles with severe asthma than you know over exertion can cause a few coughs. As I continued to unload the cart she looked up at my mom in disgust and let out a few huffs... I quickly said "It's asthma not COVID." Cindy quickly gave another death stare to me. I nicely asked her how her night was going and she said "good and you?" Fighting the urge to say "well you look miserable" I said "I'm doing okay." Instead of sliding the basket behind, which is protocol... She pushed the basket at me and said "can you move this?" I held my tongue and squeezed past my mother as she entered her card information and then started loading the cart with bags. When we were done she flung the receipt towards my mom and dropped it on the counter and turned, walked toward the end of her register and looked down the isle. My mother and I just looked at each other for a second and I said "well have a good night" Cindy turned around and looked at me and looked away with her back toward us... This experience was insane.

This is the worst Tom Thumb store you will never visit. The manager on duty is nothing more than an idiot in charge who can't help you with anything and tells you to come back the next day when the managers on duty. He's a little balled headed man who thinks he's a big tough guy and he's a little s**** Do not waste your time or money in this piece of s*** store

Service is terrible here. They're always rude. They never know where things are. They're unprofessional. They always have carts in the middle of the aisles They're never willing to help. They take forever like you have all day. I regret every time I walk into this establishment. I'd drive 15 minutes to Walmart each time!

The website is completely inaccurate and incorrect. I have spent literally hundreds of dollars here and I asked the floral associate she first ignored me then acted as if I was stupid for asking if they had an ATM which they say they do but they don't. I had a full cart and asked where the bathroom was they said they did not have one which I find odd since I saw them walk another customer to one. I asked if they let her use the restroom and she said yes. Clearly they believe in profiling or perhaps they felt that this 47 year old man was too dangerous. So long Tom Thumb

Not quite the most organized Tom Thumb I have ever been to, however they were well stocked with everything I was looking for. Talked to one greeter who was very nice, good experience!
