Phil & his crew are my go-to mechanics. I started going to Phil last year, he is awesome! ?
Very knowledgeable, very professional, doesn’t try to get you for all he can, VERY honest mechanic!! He has worked on my car for a few projects, basic stuff up to replacing my timing belt on my 2013 vehicle with over 300k miles on… she’s running till she can’t go no more!
100/10 recommend Phil for all mechanic needs! ?

I had an amazing experience at Why Pay More Auto in Dallas! Phil and his team at the auto service center are top-notch professionals. They were incredibly friendly, honest, and provided excellent service at a great price. I appreciated how they took the time to explain everything clearly and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary repairs. My car was serviced quickly, and it’s running better than ever. My husband has been without A/C for well over a year now in his Dodge. Payton went above and beyond and ensured the truck was fixed quickly and crafted to perfection. A/C is blowing powerful and cold, and this passenger princess couldn’t be happier! Why pay more really lives up to the name. I wouldn’t go to anyone else nor trust any of these shops out here selling scams and not fixing issues for 3x the cost. Save yourself the worries and $$ and come here!

I’m working in getting my 1936 Oldsmobile Sedan back on the road. Given Why Pay More Auto’s knowledge, help and determination, we are close to having her back on the road. I actually found this company through other car shops that like me, didn’t know how to start with a car that hasn’t been driven since 1960. Just plain amazing for the auto repair industry!

Recommended by my mechanic, the shop was neat and appeared clean. The man who came to the counter was the paint and body guy. Very nice and knowledgeable about the way the insurance companies work now. (Sorry, I'm old and old school. The way the insurance companies handle claims these days seems like a giant scam as opposed to how it worked in the old days.) He was able to reassure me that the repairs to my vehicle would not take too long and would be done well. They handle supplying ins. agent with claim revisions and collection so I wouldn't have to be a "middle man." As soon as I can schedule a week without my car, I will definitely be taking my car to WPM. If the service is as good as their front game, I will revise my review to add that fifth star.

I've been going to Phil for over a decade now and he has never disappointed. Outstanding service for the best prices and the most important quality of all.....honesty. More than once, Phil has examined something another company insisted my car needed, and that was not the case. He could have done the repair and I made money and I wouldn't have known different.
