The T. Boone Pickens YMCA located in Dallas, Texas is a not-for-profit social services organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The gym has an old-school feel but is still decent, with a great location in downtown Dallas. It features an awesome whirlpool and a giant working sauna, catering to a business executive crowd of millennials and Gen Z who enjoy the amenities. The staff is very kind and helpful, offering great workout classes for high or low impact. While the gym closes early, making it inconvenient for night owls, it is a great place to socialize and work out in a clean and spacious environment. The Y is committed to ensuring that income is not a barrier to membership or participation in their programs.
The layout of the equipment is nice. The staff are friendly and accommidating.

Personally, it was a nice experience to see my children lose their fear of water thanks to the coach for having the patience to teach them how to float and stay safe in the water.
